To prevent these sheets from drying out, they come in a box with a ziploc style pouch inside. The pouch must be able to close completely to prevent them After ordering numerous times, I've noticed that sometimes the bag closes properly, but sometimes it won't stay closed. When my sheets had dried out and I had only used a few of them, I learned this lesson the hard way. In this manner, I keep the good ones and swap out the bad ones when I receive them, but this shouldn't be required.
The items were in good shape when they arrived. As a buyer, I did not experience cracking or any other issues previously experienced by others. It has to do with the paper's quality. There is a lot of stiffness and not much flexibility in it. Additionally, the print output is a bit drab. In the unlikely event that I had no other choice for paper, I would buy this again. There is an edible image printed on this paper that was wrapped around the cake, and you can see it does not appear.
My pack has already been consumed in under a month! I love these icing sheets for the price! Since I was using wafer paper, I decided to upgrade to these quality papers due to the price difference! Buying from this supplier will always be a good idea. They came fast and none of them were damaged as wafer paper is.
Packaging is a problem, as stated by another reviewer. Despite trying to seal the zip, the seal does not work properly. You should be prepared for these expensive icing sheets to go stale or dry out if you do not have another package to store them in. It was a perfect match since I had an old zip package from another brand of icing sheets. It is unlikely I will buy again from this brand.
In the Amazon box, I found what I considered to be a new, but used, pack of icing sheets. I was really disappointed when I opened the box to find it had been used prior. I say that because you can see where there was a previous state It was okay as long as the icing sheets were okay, and they were generally okay except for the first pair of icing sheets that were broken and chipped. However, they are ok in all other respects.
The cookies with the company logo were to be cut out with this type of cutter. Using the printer was difficult since there were so many sheets to feed. There was a lot of darkness and dullness in the image. A few other printer options didn't work for me. Ink jets have food coloring, so I created a test drawing on a sheet of paper with that color. After a while, they faded to a dull red because the red dried out. Can't remember what went wrong, but the project never came to a conclusion.
It turns out beautifully when the images are printed.
