Papers are graded based on their thickness. While it is not the most popular grade in the US, it is the thinnest. There is also a thicker paper available from us. You might be able to find Oasis Supply Premium Wafer Paper on Amazon. Papers we use do not have flavorings and, as a result, are not flavored.
If you are going to use rice paper images on a cake, add a thin layer of fondant underneath to prevent them from melting on the cake. Apply some water to the fondant (all over) and then place the paper on top of it. As you work your way out, begin with the center. Once the cake is done, you place the decorations on it. If you don't wrinkle or melt, it shouldn't be noticeable.
There’s no reason why it couldn't work with this product, as it's food safe and meant for gum paste / sugar sheets. I have a cake cricut but I haven't attempted it yet.
I'm sure you can eat this paper. The wafer paper is used to make an Italian candy called Torrone that involves a top and bottom layer of wafer paper that covers a gooey nugget

Feather-like in weight but not so heavy as It has an extra wow factor that I like, so I also saw someone do this online! The nail was on the coffin! To make it, I just googled images of boho feathers and copied them with an edible pen on paper and cut them out by hand with an X-Acto knife. Cut them with scissors on a curve all the way or all the way down each side to give them more of a fluffy appearance. They thought they were real feathers because I folded them gently down the middle. Whenever I need to make them, this will be my go-to product. No effort required. It is affordable and realistic. It is edible. Don't be afraid to try!.
It's not that I can't get high off of torrone nougat. But at $12+ a box, I'd probably be better off if I were addicted to hard drugs. As if to prove that I didn't have any sense, I ordered some nougat (not There's a learning curve with this Bougie-shaped paper thingy, but it worked great. It did curl up like a Canadian at the olympics, but I assume it will get easier over time. You're dealing with culinary mastery here. I had a great experience creating my nougat, and wafer paper made it so cutting and storing went so You won't find any strange flavors here, We will be purchasing again in the near future. The paper lords of magical wafers, thanks a lot!.
In a nutshell, The stuff I used to make these peonies and butterflies is beautiful. First ordered the 20 count, but didn't use it very often so it lasted for quite some time. In a few days, I will order the 100 count.
My husband owns a bakery, and we've tried many edible papers before. There is no need to trim it, and the image looks great on the cake. It has a thin appearance that blends in perfectly with the cake. I would highly recommend it.
Chef John's recipe for torrone appears in "Foodwishes. " Follow his instructions carefully. You'll not only love it, but it's very easy.
With airbrush food coloring I lightly airbrushed full sheets of paper, stenciled them, precut the sheets, and then airbrushed again. stayed intact even after folding and weren't torn. I was excited to work with wafer paper for the first time, and I was very satisfied (Remember the old communion wafers? They had a mild taste that the kids didn't like. These make a perfect snack) but it was fun to watch them try it believing.
Before I read about it in a "sticky" candy recipe, I thought it only existed in books. But now that I've tried it, I wonder how I ever lived without it. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the candy since those who have tried it can't tell there is paper attached to it. When I tell them how I obtained the non-sectarian material, they ask me how I did it The nougat has a sticky surface. They are instantly interested in knowing where they can get it when I explain it to them. There was not a single broken sheet in mine, which was quite impressive.
Having studied reviews, I bet I made the right choice by selecting this particular brand and package. In case you're wondering, I ordered this cake in order to recreate the cake shown in the Food Network magazine. It did the job just fine, as indicated by another reviewer. To make my edible paints, I used a sugar solution with a hint of vodka since I had read that paper would dissolve quickly with moisture. Since then, I have created paper flowers for cakes and I am pleased to note that they have turned out beautifully. It was easy to create the flowers (there are several great videos on YouTube). On the paper, I found it easy to paint. There was no need to wait long for it to dry. As stated earlier, painting it makes it crackly, so if you need to cut it in shapes before painting, do so first. In addition to the product itself, a padded envelope was included. There was no damage to any of the sheets. This is a good deal considering how many sheets you get for the price. Their description is true as far as the edible part goes. There is no such thing as a bad taste with them.
