As compared to what the advertisement shows, this amount is ridiculously small. “Too little, too late” is the ideal term for this product. I will still use it since it is a really cool idea, but I can't help but think the jar in the picture looks full and the amount piled up next to it looks I also received a jar which was not sealed when it arrived. Considering that it contained food, it should have been sealed for sure.

As many customer reviews mentioned, this jar of sprinkles wasn't packed like a jar of candy, but there were others addressing this issue. This is the first time I have ever purchased gold leaf flakes, so not sure whether this is normal or not. Still, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Using a tweezers and applying the candy onto a wet/semi dry surface was the method that I used when decorating chocolate covered treats (I decorated approximately 4 dozen Oreos and still have more than half left). You won't really be able to stick it if it's dry. As it's very thin, it's hard to tear into smaller pieces, but then again this is not unusual.

This is the first time I have used real gold leafing or any kind of leafing. It was easy to work with the big flakes of this product. Make sure that they know what they are going to use to seal it and stick it on. The modgepodge worked great while wet to adhere this to the wall, dependant on the type of leafing. The hobby lobby stuff just liked to keep tacky, and when you seal it, the leafing comes off so it's not really suitable When you wet out the modgepodge, dab some on, let it dry for about 30 minutes, then add the leafing sealer, it gives it a gloss finish like an acrylic paint. Obviously not everything works for everyone, but I wanted to share what I found to be effective. I love these flakes, how delicate and lovely they are.
