There was no wheat listed in the ingredients of this product. In addition to the gluten-free nature of the food, my husband is a vegetarian. It is not a product I recommend or a company I recommend.

There is nothing better than what you can find It is hard to find the authentic rice wine without salt added in my small town, so I have to order online since local liquor shops don't stock it, and shipping for one bottle is as much as $100

In any case, the char siu came out perfectly when we used this for making it. You don't have to add salt if your recipe calls for the non-salt type of salt Wine that has been salted.

While I'm not sure what I was expecting, the flavor was not what I would consider 5 stars. I wouldn't say that this is good, but it is not as incredible as my friend suggested. I had also expected it to be more expensive. I could not find many Asian markets in my area so I had to buy my supplies online. A bottle this big is not something I would ever use!.

I bought this recipe for making Chinese New Year dishes at home for the first time. I could never get that authentic flavor that you get from Chinese food on my own, if you understand. I'm not a chef, but this was the closest I could get and it was a real comfort food!.
