The reason for not doing so is not clear to me. Then I put some in a jar and poked a hole in the lid so I could shake it Using it in the popcorn machine like twice a week has lasted for a long time, and I've used my gallon.
The whirlypop would work just fine with this. As you would culinary oil, you can also use it for frying. There are many ways to flavor it, but Flavacol is one of the best!
It's amazing how well this popcorn oil works! The kernels are popped in an electric Stir Crazy popcorn popper using a blend of coconut oil and popcorn oil. After the popcorn pops (and there are usually only a few kernels that won't pop), I add butter flavored salt (the orange kind) and some table salt, then drizzle the popcorn oil over it, toss, drizzle and salt again to make sure the bottom is covered. My order is about to be placed!
With all foods, the flavors are intensified if there is even a tiny pinch of salt added. As the oil heats, add a small pinch of finely ground kosher salt if you are using it to pop corn. There is not enough salt in that amount to raise your sodium intake, but you will notice a

A lot of popcorn fans consider "movie theatre style" popcorn the holy grail of Many people are trying to replicate this taste in their homes. A movie theatre style set is actually pretty easy to assemble and simply consists of three basic components
1. I am going to bring you yellow popcorn
2. 1. Coconut Oil 2. Avocado Oil 3. The brand name of Flavacol is popcorn salt with a buttery flavor. Mix in the appropriate ratios and pop it in. However, even that will get you started, you're still going to ask where do you get that liquid gold that you pour on That's all there is to This isn't true butter, as you might expect. We are talking about flavored oil here. However, the taste of the dish is just right. When I say spot on, I don't mean it tastes like butter, I mean it tastes like the stuff behind the concession stand at the movie theater. This popcorn, if you are going to view a movie in a theatre, completes your experience, and it has a long shelf life, so it doesn't need to be refrigerated. It's not the best you can do, but it's not the worst either. The only thing better than butter is People utilize butter in the wrong way, however. Butter on top of kernels might cause them to shrivel and shrink if it is just melted and poured on. Butter is watery, so the reason for that is water. Clarified butter is the best thing to use. This is butter, where the butterfat is separated from the milk solids and the Your popcorn will not be shriveled by the clarified butter, and it tastes delicious. The most expensive and most hard to find clarified butter (don't use cheese fat, which is usually made from goat milk) is O'Dell's popcorn butter, which has clarified butter in it, and it is wonderful, but pricey. Unless you are in the mood to mess with clarified butter or can't find it, this is a great replacement.
The recipe for this dish is here We're talking about movie popcorn here. I seasoned 1/4 cup popcorn with 2 tablespoons of corn salt (Flavacol), and used more of this oil than I would like to admit) The following is an example of 4TBS. Using this method, you can enjoy movie theater popcorn in all its aspects. * * Tip You should put 3 sacrificial kernels into the pot in order for the oil to heat up. Put the rest of the 1/4 cup of kernels in after the first three have popped. Be sure the popping stops almost as soon as you shake it. I'm done with you.
My Whirley Pop has really changed how I pop popcorn since I started using this product in July 2017. The 1 gallon bottle has lasted me until now, and the ingredients in it have changed how I pop popcorn. Formerly, I used O'Dells, but this butter topping tastes much better and I like it more. As long as it has popcorn kernels in it and is topped with butter, it tastes like
I am now on my second package of this product and plan on continuing to buy it, as it is the best one that I have encountered and extremely inexpensive for the amount of butter topping you get. My heartfelt recommendation to anyone looking for an alternative to melting butter goes out to this product.
It was an awful mess to receive the package, even though the product itself is great! An outer poly bag that coated both the interior and outer of the jug with oil was wrapped around it. As soon as it was opened, leaks were evident in the box.
Let me say that I don't normally leave reviews, but this was definitely worth the time and effort. We had this stuff in our theater room when we set up our popcorn station. Since it is better than theater butter, we call it "BETTER THAN THEATER BUTTER". We no longer need to drive to the movie theater if we are craving popcorn. You can't imagine how amazing it is. It is a product I will buy.
The stuff in here is real. My goal was to come as close as possible to making real movie theater popcorn at home, and this was the missing piece. It was time to buy a Whirly Pop, I also bought Flavacol (yet another star of the show), but there was something You can use this stuff for two purposes. It's used as the oil to pop the corn and also as the topping to drizzle over. Compared to Orville Redenbacher oil you can buy at a grocery store, this stuff has way more flavor (and color).
Folks, this is the same topping used at movie theaters. Having worked for one myself for a few years, I know what you mean. Basically, it is a soybean oil that is flavor-infused so that it has a vague butter taste, but not quite. Though I like it personally, I can see how people looking for butter flavor would be disappointed with this. You will have to melt the butter, let it cool, and then scrape off the hard blocks of separated oils from the water to get THAT flavor. Clarified butter is what's known as it. You can put just that on popcorn after you melt it down. Since it has no water in it, clarified butter will make your popcorn buttery without making it soggy. However, butter with water in it is what makes it soggy. Clarified butter has no water, it has oil, and as such will appear soggy when you use it. As far as I am concerned, this product does the trick for me and it removes the tedious task of melting butter, so big thumbs up.
In addition, you need to buy popcorn butter oil to make the perfect popcorn. You can mix the popcorn and put together after you make it and it smells like you're in a movie theater, and it tastes really good. To make it easy for us, we put the popcorn oil in an empty ketchup bottle to keep it handy and easy to use. Yum! An electric popcorn maker combined with butter oil and salt makes the perfect combination!.
