This is amazing! Maybe I should just keep ordering it, especially at the low price I paid? I'd think this would fetch a higher price given the relatively low price paid. The reason Pompeian branded it as "Robust" was because it had a medium consistency and full flavor. In comparison with many similar products available in supermarkets, including Kirkland brand at Costco, this product provides superior flavor at a lower price, and I had no trouble in discerning the difference as soon as I paired it with a standard red tomato sauce and briefly cooked fresh garlic. Those familiar with traditional Italian or generic Mediterranean cooking will recognize what I mean since I noticed OLIVE OIL before the garlic. I let the garlic "rest" for about 15 minutes before cooking, so anyone who is familiar with Italian or generic Mediterranean cooking will understand what I mean. As a Hawaii resident, I am thrilled to be able to locate my preferred culinary staples on Amazon for FREE Shipping instead of having to hunt them down locally.
