Selected User Reviews For Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil, First Cold Pressed, (2 Liters) 68 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

Does it matter if it's fake or real? My family and I have used colavita extra virgin olive oil for over 10 years now
3/5

When I buy it at the grocery store, I usually buy a smaller bottle, but this time I thought I would buy a larger bottle from Amazon. It's a mistake I should never have made. It is quite literally the land of imposters on Amazon. Although I knew it would be a bad investment, The extra virgin olive oil here, I'm pretty certain, isn't all that high in antioxidants. I use Colavita for all of my salad dressings since it's been around for so long. As soon as it goes into the refrigerator, it behaves the way I am used to. When it solidifies, it is solidified Once you put the oils in the fridge, they will all solidify, or become cloudy. The bottle was empty but what came out of it was a disaster After a full day in the fridge, it is still pure liquid. Although I am not saying the product is an imposter, I AM saying that this is not my normal Colavita. There's a possibility that this may be cut with a lesser quality oil, such as seed oil, or may not be virgin oil at all. Whatever the case may be, it's not pure Evoo. There is a total lack of satisfaction on my part. The lesson was learned by throwing the item away. I go back to the grocery store because the one I was at is not right.

The price is good and the quality is excellent! Take the time to read the fine print! Whenever I buy olive oil from Colavita, I am always satisfied
5/5

This is something I regularly receive through Subscribe & Save The 68 fl. bag of shampoo can be obtained with a coupon that's enticing and can sometimes be stacked with another offer. An ounce of. For well under $20, you can get a bottle. You can cook with it and use it as a salad dressing because it tastes great, is dependable, and usually works well. A blend of several countries is typically used in this particular product. The olives in my specific case were a combination of olives from Italy, Greece, Spain, although it is not uncommon to include olives from Portugal as well. Look for something that comes from one origin if that is what you need. Choosing this would be a good option for those looking for something fairly priced, consistent in quality, and the fact that there are a number of origins is perfectly fine.

I should have taken the photos into consideration
3/5

It arrived smashed, but it was excellent olive oil. The olive oil that I usually store in a glass bottle is in a very delicate glass. So I took some caution when opening The bottle cap was broken, so I spilled a lot of olive oil all over myself and the counter. Now it's too messy to even return without the oil spilling.

It has a very flavorful flavor
5/5

Quite strong in flavor, it is ideal for savory dressings, sauces, etc. It has a rich flavor that is savory, spicy, vinegary, and bitter. This is the cheapest beer around, so you won't get a better flavor Olive oil with a high content of vitamins. It's probably true. How do I know any of that?.

I didn't take it because it was Italian, but I enjoyed it You are likely to receive something different from the oil you see in the product listing, even though the images describe Italian oil
4/5

After I reviewed the review, I realized that the oil was a mixture of Italian, Spanish, and Greek. I thought I had gotten Greek oil, but closer examination of the label reveals it is an Italian, Spanish, and Greek oil. Although I was a bit upset, I have tried some of the other blends of Colavita oil and am satisfied with them. I recently did a blind tasting with my wife and we found the blended oil to be better than the Italian I was using the Italian oil had a bit of a peppery taste Compared to the last time, this went more smoothly. Also, it is 30 years old A 40 percent discount compared to the Italian oil found in the grocery store. I did deduct one star because the service did not live up to the hype, but in the end I found it to be adequate for my needs. Those who are not interested might not be interested. There should be a truth in advertising policy at Amazon. The variety I'll get in future purchases also raises the question of how I'll evaluate this company?.

It is a great olive oil that can be used every day
5/5

It was the same product I bought in the store, but it was cheaper and delivered outside my front I'm in love. Do not fall for the false promises made by some It is not a cheap olive oil, even if the snobs here think otherwise, it is a good, solid oil with decent flavors that has a reasonable price. It is true that there are better olive oils out there. I have been to olive first pressings before. Don't hesitate to buy it if this is a good every day product you are looking for. It would be great if I could have Japanese Wagyu prime rib every day, but I am not likely to complain if I get a good ol' choice bone-in rib – You can find it in the This is not something you should do.

Oil made from fake sources
3/5

Having bought this oil on amazon for a couple years, I have always enjoyed the smell of fresh fruit, but I opened the newest bottle and found it smelt bad, and I tasted the oil and found it to be There will be no return policy, buyers beware, taste and smell the oil, watch YouTube videos to see what it should be like, I don't hate Colavita anymore, it isn't what it once.

Providing the best value and quality at an affordable price
5/5

As a grocery store customer, I have bought this brand of olive oil before and have always found the price to be the best. But this is not the only factor that I look for in an olive oil 1) Organic is best. To get all the factors to mesh in one brand, it is very difficult. 2) First Cold Pressed - This is very difficult to do. In other words, we are not pressing the same crop multiple times, but extracting the olive oil from a single pressing. It is also essential that the process itself is extracted under cold conditions, so there is no heat involved. br>3) Extra Virgin--A top quality product. Chemicals were not used in the extraction of this oil, so there is no fragrance or flavor to it.
4) Dark Glass Bottle - Olive oil sealed in a dark glass bottle makes it extremely distinctive. In this way, light does not affect the oil's properties and its freshness is maintained. The following factors are the ones I look at the most, but there are others as well. Brands like this one never let you down. I highly recommend this book.
