I don't keep track of things like that. At the very least, there should be enough oil to cover the tops of the kernels. I use more oil when I want a stronger flavor. You should be able to figure out what works best for you after a few tries.
There is no dairy in the ingredients, as far as I can tell.
It's canola oil that's been flavored with butter. Deep frying can be done with canola oil. I can't say how many uses you'll get out of the oil, though.
Each time, I use about 2 TBS; one gallon lasts me all winter, and I pop almost every night for 3 to 4 months.

I was astounded; it tastes just like any movie popcorn I've ever had! In most cases, the unhealthy version tastes better; however, this is not the case here. Mind you, I also use Flavacol popcorn salt in this recipe; this combination will change your life! ***If you're a popcorn connoisseur or snob, you must try these two toppings on your popcorn. Seriously, this recipe puts all other recipes to shame!.
( Flavacol. ) Delish! I prefer it to coconut oil because it has a lower saturated fat content. br>br>2/4/21 UPDATE: br>I'm still having a good time with this one. To compare, I recently purchased Snappy Butter Burst oil. The oil is a little thinner and a little more sloppy. (More spills) The flavor isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I combined the two oils (1:1) because I had both. 1) It has a fantastic flavor. I can't get enough! Popcorn is one of my favorite foods.
It improves the flavor of our popcorn, in my opinion. Plus, it stays liquid at any temperature, so no more squeezing cold coconut oil out of a scoop. Its smoke point is also higher. I'll keep buying this over other options as long as it's available. It costs about the same as the other oil we purchased.
I was on the verge of requesting a refund. It had a rancid taste the first time I used it. I'm going to order the Snappy Popcorn Butter Burst that I used to use instead of the rancid oil. I've been cooking with butter-flavored coconut oil, which is tasty but high in saturated fats. Because canola oil is supposed to be healthier, I decided to give it a shot. It's not worth it in the least.
Cholesterol reduction is something I'm working on at the moment. Let's face it, we don't have a lot of time on our hands. I'm looking for an increase in HDL and a decrease in LDL. That's what this does, and I thought to myself, "Wow, that's cool. " "I can use it as a butter substitute if it tastes even remotely like butter. " So far, it's working; the flavor is a little lighter than butter when cooking and seasoning, but it's still recognizable. Because the jug was too tall to fit in the fridge, I transferred it to a milk jug. I put what I use on the stove and at the table in a smaller bottle. br>br>I read that it doesn't keep well, but maybe they were just leaving it out at room temperature, and they didn't seem to be using it for everything. As I am, I use all-purpose butter-flavored Canola oil. IT WORKS FOR ME, and plain Canola oil as a butter and margarine substitute would be insufficient.
I've bought this Snappy Canola Oil three times and am very pleased with it. I usually pop the corn in Avocado Oil (which is better for heat and health) and then drizzle it with Snappy Canola Oil. It adds a wonderful flavor to the dish. Look at the tag. There is no trans fat and there is a low amount of saturated fat. There's no need to feel bad because you're not doing anything wrong.
Snappy Buttery Canola oil vs. Snappy Colored Coconut oil was the subject of a "pop off" in my family. br>We're popcorn aficionados - We even have our own movie theater-style popcorn machine, so you can rest assured that we take our popcorn very seriously. br>I really like this canola oil! Don't get me wrong: I'm a believer. The coconut oil, on the other hand, was slightly superior. The coconut oil appears to be a little lighter, and the texture of the popcorn popped in it is noticeably better. br>br>You can't go wrong with this, but the coconut oil is a must-try.
One of the major problems I see on Amazon is that when people find their perfect butter, they don't specify which theater they use. I can tell you that ALLEN THEATERS of New Mexico is who I use. And, after attempting three other butters that were simply not up to par, this is the closest I've come to replicating their popcorn. I get very close by combining half snappy canola oil, half paragon coconut oil, and flavacol butter flavored salt. It was never quite right when I used coconut oil. I think a combination of canola and coconut would be ideal, but two batches of snappy canola popcorn are close enough to my favorite movie theater popcorn. br>br>Wishing Everyone Else The Best Of Luck In Finding Their Perfect Flavor!.
