In normal years, we get in the car and drive down to Amish country to buy these items as they become available. We usually buy two bottles a year, six months apart, so we didn't have any when they appeared out of nowhere. lockdown! Even when gas and wear and tear on the car are factored in, Amish country has a lower cost of living. lockdown! Even though it's twice the price here, we're glad we found it on Amazon. The Stir Crazy popper is first on my list. I combine this oil with a pinch of Flavacol (butter-flavored salt) and the result is as close to theater as I've ever come. I occasionally add a pat of butter to the popper to add a little extra zing. I haven't tried the butter cup in the lid, so I can't comment on that. I eat theater-style popcorn two or three times a week, and this satisfies my craving. I don't keep track of how much oil I use. I just go by feel and probably put in a little more than is necessary.
Your popcorn popper will benefit from the buttery canola oil. This produces popped corn that is almost identical (in the best way) to that found in movie theaters and sports stadiums. The multi-player option is one that I recommend. flavored Amish popcorn box set to figure out which species of corn you prefer; surprising enough, the different corns produce different results. I had no luck with air poppers or microwave poppers. A dutch oven on the stovetop worked well, but it was difficult to shake. I recommend using an electric popper with a stirring mechanism. "Nostalgia Stainless Steel 6-Piece Set" is one example. Quick-Stir Speed Popper for a Quart "Dash DSSP355GBRD02 Deluxe" and "Heat Technology" are two examples of "Dash DSSP355GBRD02 Deluxe. It's fantastic, with a taste and texture that reminds me of a movie theater. While the popcorn was popping in the popcorn bowl, I heated it up a little on the stove, then poured it over and coated the popped kernels, then ate it.
