I'm not sure, but I don't see why not. This canola oil is not only high quality despite its low price, but it's also very versatile; I use it to make vegan butters and spreads for eating, but I'm sure it'd work well in body butters as well!

It's only the chain oil I'm referring to. This should not be used in the engine or fuel mixture (you still need 2 stroke oil for 2 stroke engines). br>br>Chain saws slather oil on the chain as you use it, and it gets all over the place. (If you don't empty the reservoir before storing them, they will leak oil. ) ) Canola oil is nontoxic and safer for the environment than petroleum-based bar and chain oil, and it's also less expensive! br>br>Also, if you filter used canola oil and put it in your chain saw, you'll be able to smell whatever you cooked in it (in my case, corn tortillas) while you're working! It's a lot more fun to cut down trees this way! (I DO NOT RECOMMEND TASTEING THE OIL AFTER IT HAS BEEN USED IN A CHAIN SAW! )br>br>Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Of course, it's excellent for frying tostadas, taco shells, and anything else that canola oil is good for.
When I was on vacation, I used it to fry fish for a week. This oil performed admirably when I fried fish at a high temperature. It was not necessary to replace the grease, but only to top it off to maintain the proper level. Throughout the week, the fish was crispy and delicious.

It doesn't seem to leave the same "hot grease" odor in the house as the corn oil I've been using. I can't tell the difference between the corn oil and the other oils. I'm going to use this for all of my frying needs from now on because I've heard it doesn't break down into carcinogenics like corn oil does and it can withstand much higher temperatures. I'm very happy with this oil, and I believe it's a good value for the amount you get.
