Questions & Answers

What is the carbohydrate content? net carbs aren't the only thing to consider. ?

This is something I've asked about a few times. The majority of people agree on 13g. However, one of my questions received a response that said 16g of carbs, including 14g of insoluble fiber, for a total of 2 net g. The higher the fiber content, the more you can ignore or compensate for the carbs.

What's the deal with this item?

This product's ingredients are extremely harmful to your health. Palm oil? You're in a bad situation. Gluten? Thank you, but no. This is from a 1995 edition of healthy, and it refers to soy.

Is there a recipe or instructions for making the pizza crusts, dumplings, and other items included with this product?

On the box, there are several recipes, including a white pizza. I didn't see any dumplings, but low-carb flour tortillas might be a good alternative. Low carb flour tortillas are new to me, but regular flour tortillas make fantastic chicken and dumplings. Last night, I used it to make veal scallopini, and it tasted exactly like flour. Once upon a time, I used it to make fantastic pancakes. On the back of the box is a waffle recipe. Biscuits are also available.

When the mixture is dry, it appears to contain a fatty crystalized substance. Have any of you noticed this in your boxes?

Yes. That's the fat, I believe. It can be found in any baking mix. When making biscuits from scratch, fat is used. They'll need it in a form that won't go rancid over time.

Odd flavor/amazing flavor in the new box
5/5

I'd like to give my opinion on this, and if anyone points out any flaws, I'll revise my opinion. I've made pancakes, a lot of biscuit rounds, crepes, bread, and pizza dough so far. Except for the flavor, everything appears to be in order. Wow. It's almost as if it were made of plastic or synthetic materials. It doesn't matter what I put in; I've tried increasing the butter in biscuits and ended up with butter-flavored synthetic biscuits. I'm not sure if it's because of the batch I bought, or because the container was placed in an Amazon warehouse next to something synthetic or something. I can't seem to get rid of the plastic flavor in anything I cook. It's not like the other ingredients differ significantly from one dish to the next. With the first batch of biscuits in hand, I asked my husband, "How do you like them?" They resemble biscuits, at least on the surface. Like a biscuit, it's flaky and delicious. Is there anything in it that you put in it, he inquired? Why, I asked? He said he didn't know, just a strange aftertaste, and I asked him to explain because I had already decided what it tasted like after the first bite. He replied, "I'm not sure. " I can't think of a better word to describe the aftertaste than "fake," if that makes sense. I said, "You're a mean man," and I meant it. something that was synthesized Yes, he said. As if it were a ruse. It's like the difference between a scrambled egg scrambled in a pan versus one scrambled in the microwave. We tried everything else and still can't get rid of the synthetic plastic flavor; any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. No thanks if it's just a matter of getting used to the flavor. I have taste buds for a reason, so I'm going to experiment with almond flour or coconut flour to see what I can come up with. br>br>THE FOLLOWING IS A RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS POST: Following my initial comments about Carbquick, I was contacted directly by a representative from the manufacturer. Shannon is her full name. She sent me a complimentary box, with a distinct flavor. It's possible that the Amazon product I ordered tasted like plastic because it was old or improperly stored. Shannon sent me a box of Carbquick, and I've already used almost half of it. The biscuits are to die for. The pancakes are fantastic. The crust on the pizza is incredible. Next, I'm going to make some bread, but I'll have to order some more. To ensure product quality, I will be ordering directly from the manufacturer. Thank you Shannon for reading and acting on these posts.

a delicious flavor However
3/5

This is a little embarrassing, but I'll inform you. My family and I ordered a small pizza and had no problems with it; it was fantastic! We made two more pizzas later in the week, as well as calzones the following day. Once again, excellent flavor. The next day, however, I was unable to pass a stool. Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my 52 years of life. I sat on the toilet for six hours because it was too big for me. I drank olive oil, laxatives, and everything else, and when it finally passed, it felt like giving birth to a man. My daughter was having a similar problem. Perhaps it's just our genes, but I wouldn't eat this in large quantities (as I did). Personally, I'll never use it again, but it's possible that someone in my family will. There's no denying it's an excellent carb replacement; I just wanted to let you know what happened to me. I'd take it slowly at first.

Review of the Carbquik Baking Mix I stayed in ketosis while eating this delicious meal
5/5

This is the best low-carb baking mix I've ever come across. I've just placed an additional order for two boxes. It is something that both my husband and I enjoy. The flavor is identical to that of ordinary white flour. I couldn't believe how good it tasted. It has a typical baking mix smell to it. I also like that it already contains baking powder and other ingredients;br>br>I've used it to make waffles and the cheddar biscuit recipe on the box. My old Belgian waffle maker has come to life thanks to the waffles! Also delicious were the cheddar biscuits. br>br>But the real good news for low-carb dieters is that eating a huge Belgium waffle with 1/2 cup of baking mix did not knock me out of ketosis. The next day, I checked my blood sugar, which was in the 90s, which is normal for me. When I'm not low carving, my blood sugar is usually just above normal, around 110. To maintain my weight and avoid diabetes, I eat a low-carb diet. br>br>I've made waffles for people who don't need to watch their sugar intake, and they have no idea they're not made from regular high-carb baking mix. br>br>I had no stomach issues after eating this baking mix, and neither did my husband. br>br>Thank you for taking the time to read my reviewbr>br>Becky Brooksbr>br>I paid full price for this item.

Sugar-free pound cake is fantastic
5/5

I just finished making the pound cake, and it turned out to be fantastic. I read that there was an aftertaste, but there isn't one; it's delicious! Make certain that everything is thoroughly combined. By 55 minutes, the batter has thickened and begun to brown. Use a plastic knife to run around the edges and the middle circle of the bunt pan before flipping it.

OH MY GOODNESS, OH MY GOODNESS, OH M I've been following the Carb Nite Solution protocol ( by Dr
5/5

Kiefer), eating ultra low carb daily (less than 30 net grs) and having a bakery from home I% So, out of sheer curiosity, I decided to try this flour, assuming it would be just as good as mine, but boy, was I mistaken! This flour tastes just like regular wheat flour, has no aftertaste, does not crumble, and does not dry out. So far, I've made pancakes and naan breads, and the results have been fantastic. I don't miss bread all that much, but now that I have this, I'll be using it to replace all of the flours I use, even in my daughter's food! I'm shocked there is such a product; I wasn't paid by this company to write reviews; I'm doing so because I know what it's like to make sacrifices to be healthier, and if you're reading this, it's because you know what it's like to make those sacrifices as well (or are about to), and I want you to know that this is your best bet to eat 'normal' again.

It tastes fantastic
5/5

It's a fantastic product that tastes exactly like Bisquik but doesn't rise as well. It rises much better when 1/8 teaspoon of Xantham Gum is added per serving, and it appears to be keto-friendly.
