I'm an Australian living abroad, and the lack of Vegemite was killing me. The quality is identical to that found at home, and the shipping time and packaging were both satisfactory.
Vegemite on toast with tomatoes on top with salt is one of my favorites. pepper. On top of the cheese, a thin layer of vegemite is spread. Toast with vegemite and cheese on top that has been microwaved until the cheese has melted.
It's Vegemite, so how would you rate it? It has the color and consistency of a good turd. Does it taste like a good turd? It's either something you like or something you despise. There is no such thing as an in- between. Personally, I like it, but that should have no bearing on your decision to buy it. If you're an American, there's a good chance you'll hate it. If it hadn't been for the second mortgage I had to take out to buy the case, I would have given it five stars. However, it WAS the lowest price per gram I could find on Amazon.
The Vegemite is fine, but after purchasing 12 jars, I discovered that the expiration date is Best before February 10, 2022, so I won't be eating all of them before then. For a long time, I will not be ordering Vegemite. It's most likely old stock that the company was looking to get rid of. Before the sell-by date, I expected to wait at least another two years. 2 months is too long!.
m. on Sunday from work, and it arrived about 20 minutes ago. It was perfectly packaged. There was a lot of bubble wrap and the package was packed in a box within a box. The price was the lowest on the internet and in any Arizona store. I'm not sure why I'm so enamored with this. I keep vegemite on hand in case of an emergency, I suppose. I would strongly advise you to buy from this vendor. The delivery driver was extremely pleasant; however, he was not a FedEx driver, as FedEx drivers are notorious for breaking everything.
The best way to purchase this product is to buy it in bulk and keep it in the refrigerator until you need it. Jars have a twelve-month shelf life. br>I'm told there's life after Vegemite.
Despite the fact that I am from the United Kingdom, I believe Vegemite is a superior product to Marmite in terms of flavor, as it is richer and smoother. Where I live (California), it's expensive and difficult to come by, so buying in bulk makes sense.
