Questions & Answers

Phosphate is present in your product. ?

It doesn't work like that at all. The ingredients were listed on Amazon. Simply take a look.

Is this something that needs to be kept cold? Why isn't it stated on the package?

They don't have to be kept in the fridge. Because they're imported (from either Belgium or the Netherlands), I'm guessing they're not subject to all of the same regulations that apply to American products.

Is this something that you can eat?

Yes, to put it simply. There are no animals or animal by-products in Roland Cookie Butter. Its ingredients list contains a number of products. It does, however, contain lactic acid, which is vegan because it is produced naturally by plants or is synthesized artificially. made with the help of plants Lactic acid can also be found in fermented dairy and meats, but there's no way of knowing where Roland got his lactic acid. Lactic acid can be found in a variety of vegan foods, so I don't think it's a big deal. I brought it up because some people may confuse it with Lactose, which is found in dairy products.

Is it up to Biscoff's standards?

Although I have not tried Biscoff's, I purchased Roland's to compare to the brand Speculoos because Roland's is less expensive. There is no comparison in my opinion, and you get what you pay for in this case. With the tiny pieces of Speculoos cookies mixed in both brands, I think the Speculoos is far superior to Roland's in flavor, creaminess, and overall texture/consistency. The Speculoos cookies come in three varieties: smooth, crunchy, and cocoa swirl, and all three types are available at my local Trader Joe's for a much lower price than buying them online; however, I give the Speculoos cookies as gifts, so buying them online with free delivery is well worth it!

Delicious, silky smooth but with a pleasant grit to it
5/5

I decided to try cookie butter because I'd never heard of it before. It's been compared to peanut butter, and I enjoy a late-night snack of a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk, so I figured the cookie butter would be a good substitute. I ordered the Roland brand because it was nearly half the price of the Trader Joe's version online, and some reviewers preferred it. When it arrived, I immediately opened the jar and took my first bite, which was smooth, delicious, and reminded me of cinnamon and spice cookie dough. However, as it melted in my mouth, it left a slight gritty residue on my teeth. A POSITIVE IS NOT A NEGATIVE! It had more texture thanks to the very slight grit - If you will, call it a new dimension - to the mouth of the creature feel. I believe that, like peanut butter, it is a very versatile food product that can be used for a variety of purposes other than making a quick sandwich or spreading on toasted muffins. A wide range of recipes, from smoothies to frostings, may also benefit. br>br>While I waited for my Amazon cookie butter order to arrive, I went to Walmart and discovered another brand of peanut butter in the peanut butter section. It was only $3 for Lotus Biscoff cookie butter. I decided to buy it when I was 29 years old. I tasted it and ate several spoonfuls of the creamy goodness when I got home. It was my first time trying cookie butter, and I found it to be quite enjoyable. It resembled peanut butter when spooned straight from the jar. It was the same nutty color, smooth consistency, and mouth-watering flavor. It has the same texture as peanut butter (no grit), but it's a little less dense. The main difference is that peanut butter coats the mouth and takes a little longer to melt, as well as having a longer nutty flavor. It was lunchtime, so I made a peanut butter and cookie butter sandwich, which I devoured in seconds while sipping a glass of water. I gave my approval! Then I made another sandwich, but this time I used strawberry preserves as a layer. That was culinary snack nirvana, dear reader! Before the Amazon order arrived, I ate a third of a jar of Lotus cookie butter! Meanwhile, I experimented with it using honey (!). ), peach preserves (! ), and so on. ), and nothing but a cookie butter sandwich and a cold beer (! I've eaten a lot of snacks with beer in my 70 years on this planet, but cookie butter, along with nuts, popcorn, and pizza, is at the top of the list! Finally, Lotus has a darker, smoother, creamier, more spreadable, and shinier consistency than Roland, but their flavors are nearly identical, in my opinion. I'd buy whatever was available or the least expensive, and if you can find a store brand that's less expensive, go ahead and try it. Especially if you have a hungry family that can't get enough of it or uses it in a variety of recipes. Creamy Speculoos Cookie Butter, 14 oz. , Walmart Great Value 1 oz. is only two dollars. So, try out different brands of cookie butter. You'll be glad you took the time to do so!.

This is something you should not buy
5/5

If you're trying to lose weight, this is a good option. This is hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. I eat it with a spoon every now and then, as if I were a five-year-old reaching for the peanut butter jar. The best way to use - Buy some dark chocolate (I like Eco brand's 70% cacao), break a square and spread a heaping scoop of this heaven on it. My husband will have to be kept in the dark about it. He's eating far more than his fair share, which irritates me. It's also delicious on waffles, in coffee (which may sound strange, but it's incredibly delicious), or simply on your finger. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude.

Don't be fooled by the competitors' brand; don't make the same mistake I did
3/5

Ugh. To begin with, I paid $8 for this, and it is now worth just over $6. That irritates me because I don't even think it's worth $5. You must understand, desperate quarantine wanderer, that this is not the same brand as the one you can't find. There's a reason why it's so easy to find. It doesn't taste anything like the other brand, but I figured, so what if it doesn't? What makes you think it's possible to be so different? Unfortunately, the situation is quite different. br>br> I can't say I'm a fan of the spread's thickness. In contrast to what others have said, it's thin and spreadable, which could be due to a change in the ingredients. The flavor, on the other hand, is like combining white flour, brown sugar, and perhaps a speck of Belgian cookie with a lot of oil and calling it a day. There's a faint cookie flavor that's overpowered by a flour flavor; another commenter mentioned a floury flavor, which I ignored. I enjoy attempting new things on my own. It doesn't taste bad by any means, but it isn't what you think it is. I don't get much pleasure from licking it off a spoon on its own, and I don't feel compelled to hide it to avoid eating it. I wish I had the opportunity to return it to you. It's just sugary flour, and it doesn't make me happy. It also has 100 calories per tablespoon and a lot of saturated fat, so don't use it to make up for lost fat points. I'm thinking of discarding it. This morning, I put it in my coffee and it was just ok. I only gave them an extra star because they didn't claim to be better or identical to another brand; it was my own foolish hope and reliance on other reviews that caused me to give them an extra star. You've been given fair warning.

It's the best

Ever. The only downside to this product is that I can't eat the entire jar while still fitting into my favorite jeans. I've been looking for this my whole life! This is my absolute favorite!.

As a spread or in a pie, it's a delicious combination
5/5

Cookie butter was something I'd never heard of before. This was purchased in preparation for making cookie butter pie. I'd never made or eaten a pie like this before. It's now a family favorite, and I should've made two for Thanksgiving. The pumpkin, chocolate cream, and lemon meringue in this pie were all gone before the pumpkin, chocolate cream, and lemon meringue. This makes a delectable toast spread, and the kids prefer it to peanut butter!.

WARNING: USE CAUTION
5/5

This is, without a doubt, the best cookie butter I've ever tried. It's a little bit of heaven in a jar. But, and this is a major issue that I and apparently other customers have had, the glass jar is a FAIL. It shattered into a slew of pieces when it brushed up against my granite counters. As you might expect, this completely ruined my brand-new purchase. I was able to save some of it, but the rest was covered in glass dust. Clearly, the contents of a glass jar are too heavy for it. I see a lawsuit in the future if someone eats glass, so the company needs to start using plastic for this product. I ended up purchasing a second jar and intend to proceed in the same manner as before. Fill a mason jar with butter!.

Yum! It tastes exactly as you would expect it to - Peanut butter-like consistency and mouthfeel with speculoos cookie flavor
5/5

br>br>I'm using it to flavor some cheap bourbon, and it's working out beautifully. (I'm not sure why I didn't just buy regular speculoos cookies and crush them instead of infusing the bourbon this way - I'm not sure how well the extra fat in the "butter" will work in my infusion - However, it's been a lot of fun so far!.
