I'm British, and I've been doing this since I was two years old (I'm now 50). It is, without a doubt, the genuine article. The same as in the glass jar, but without the cost of a heavy glass container. Buying it in a tub is a lot less expensive. I've bought it from this seller three times and have never had a problem with it; I eat it on toast or toasted English muffins every morning. It's a no-brainer to get a bug tub at such a low cost!

For the past 50 years, my husband has been a Marmite fan. For him, I purchased this tub. He claimed it lasted at least three weeks for him. had a taste Until it was finished, it smelled exactly like it did before. The previous purchase had been in a large plastic bigmouth jar, which contained the same high-quality product. I just buy whatever packaging has the best price because I haven't had any problems with any of them so far. I hope this information is useful.
As far as I recall, I received my tub within a week, but it had been cracked in transit. It was fine after I transferred the contents to a new container.

The use of the term "Tub" was a little deceptive. I jumped in head first when I saw that I could get a "Tub" of delectable Marmite for an unheard of low price! Now, keep in mind that I am not very good with the metric system. When I see 600g, I immediately think of 600 gallons. When the small box arrived at my door, I assumed it was a complimentary shower cap and goggles to keep the Marmite out of my hair and eyes, as I had ordered a hot tub full of Marmite. When I opened it, I was astonished to discover 1. Marmite in a plastic "Tub" weighing 322 lbs. I was initially disappointed, but this quickly dissipated as I realized the irony in my blunder. I mean, if a Marmite-filled hot tub had arrived at my front door, I'm not sure where I would have put it. My apartment is quite small. It's a blessing, I suppose, that a conveniently sized resealable "Tub" arrived at my door in perfect eating condition (albeit in a slightly mangled box).
The umami flavor is represented by marmite. It has a saltiness similar to miso and goes well with miso. Both foods provide a variety of amino acids, which help to round out the flavor of either product on its own. Marmite, which I don't consider to be a "health food," but rather a condiment, pairs well with high-quality soy sauce. As a result, it only gets four stars from me. I've been eating this stuff since I was a kid, for some reason the stuff in the tub seems slightly thinner especially when warm, put it in the fridge to get its usual tar like consistency, love it.

Consider Worchester sauce, shoyu, and other salty, flavorful sauces. The 600 gram tub is the most cost-effective way to buy marmite, but it's not as much fun as the glass crocks. Tip: Keep the larger tub in the fridge to refill one of your little brown crocks if you buy it. This preserves the freshness and cleanliness of the marmite for a longer period of time.
