Since I have an extremely low sodium diet, if a mustard has even 50 mg of sodium per serving (1 t), which is rather low by current mustard standards, then I am limited to a teaspoon at a time, which is a rather modest amount. When I use this mustard, I can squeeze it on thick and not worry about it. Additionally, it makes an excellent dressing for salads or sauces for vegetables like roast carrots or Brussels sprouts, or for homemade mustard-pickle (I make salt-free pickles myself). My case is in my house, but I ordered it anyway because I live by myself. My money is well spent, and I'm sure I'll use it all before the 8 months are up. With this mustard (and Hunt's salt-free ketchup and a lot staying on a low sodium diet easier.
Buying in bulk online is a good idea because I love the flavor of the mustard. The only downside to the container is its size. You can only pour it out through the little spout (or whatever you call the opening at the top) and the plastic jar becomes flared out, so once the mustard gets low, it sticks to the sides and bottom of the jar Using a knife to dig it out isn't feasible because of the tiny opening, so even with a spoon some of it will be wasted. But still, it can be a hassle to deal with. New jars can be opened whenever you like.
The product I found at my local grocery store was This product was once available, but is no longer available. Having purchased a case of 12, I'm very pleased with the flavor of this product All is well and on track Sandwiches with salty ingredients are well-suited for this type of sandwich. To make my own low sodium mayo spread, I use this recipe A Belgian style shirt I think it compliments Westbrae's mustard very well. The future holds the possibility of purchasing another case.
The mustard was so great I ordered a case of twelve. I love it so much I am on a very low sodium diet. The mustard is softer than traditional yellow mustard, but it is a great alternative for those of us who need to avoid sodium. The burgers here are excellent! The following is a great product for anyone who must watch their.
This mustard is organic, free of salt and additives, and has no artificial flavors. In general, the taste doesn't appeal to me There are a lot of vinegars in this recipe. The problem is that after opening the bottle, it separates, so that about a teaspoon of vinegar is released after one I hate it. Also, the brown gunk oozes out of the jar's sides, causing the jar to look dirty and dusty. This mustard has to be kept in a plastic bag so it doesn't harm the cupboard. I'm on a salt-free diet so this is something I keep around, but it's not my favorite. I wish there were other salt-free mustards available.
The sodium intake I must restrict because I have an LVAD (heart pump). Having discovered these no salt added mustards, I bought a dozen of them and (after trying them) sent them to our monthly LVAD support group to spread that news around. The mustard in this dish is delicious and not overpowering, which is why I haven't been fond of regular mustard except on hot dogs. You can use it on homemade meatloaf sandwiches and it's delicious! The wife already has ideas about how we can use it to make egg salad sandwiches!.
This product has the most delightful taste at all and is surprising since it contains no salt. Even my meat liked it, so it is a great meal It was a big hit with my picky husband, who has told me that it was excellent. This is what Chef AJ uses in her SOS-related recipes My life has been made so much easier with these free recipes. It doesn't matter much if you miss salt. A new case will be on its way soon D.
Furthermore, it does not contain any "salt substitute" (potassium chloride) as heart patients cannot tolerate potassium chloride as it can cause irregular heartbeats. It reminded me of the mustard you get on hot dogs at the ballpark. The taste was superb, with perhaps just a little less bite than regular yellow mustard. The best price can be obtained by purchasing it by the case.
