Selected User Reviews For Heinz Tomato Ketchup (20 oz Bottle)
The "tomato blood" version was what I requested. Given that Halloween is approaching, I figured it would be amusing. Heinz ketchup was the only thing I got.
The "Tomato Blood" labeling in the listing photo prompted me to place an order. I was sent a bottle of plain Heinz Ketchup (apparently from Canada, judging by the bilingual labeling). If you look closely at the listing, you'll notice that instead of "Tomato Blood," you might get a bottle of regular ketchup- Ketchup is a condiment that is clearly labeled. Caveat emptor, but they could also label what they're actually selling more honestly and prominently.
It's not a good idea to do that! It costs over $7 for what was supposed to be Halloween blood but clearly isn't.
This was purchased specifically for my child's Halloween-related needs. I figured tomato blood would be a big hit with him- No, it's just regular Ketchup in a regular Heinz squeeze bottle. br>br>If you're not going to ship the seasonal product, maybe don't show the seasonal picture.
This is the only brand I'll use! What is the best way to write a ketchup review? I have no idea. I consider myself a ketchup connoisseur. I despise Hunts and would only use French's or Heinz ketchup until seeds began to appear in French's, which I couldn't stand, so I now only use Heinz. br>br>I like buying Heinz Ketchup on Amazon because it's one of those items that never seems to make it onto the grocery list, and despite buying four bottles, we always run out in between grocery trips. We should buy more Heinz Ketchup at a time because our family uses it on a daily basis, but we rarely do. br>br>Because the 20 ounce bottles of Heinz Ketchup are upside down, I prefer them. This means that when you want ketchup, it'll be ready to pour. This is especially helpful for me because I suffer from Fibromyalgia and have trouble squeezing shampoo bottles and other products, including other brands of ketchup. Heinz is the best in terms of taste, and it goes well with everything: br>br> Onion rings, french fries, potato wedges, loaded potato skins, chicken nuggets, chicken patties, cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese, and even scrambled eggs are just a few of the options. Yes, I am one of those odd people who ketchups everything. br>br>I've tried the "healthier" version of Heinz and it's awful; I'll stick with the original. Is it to my taste to have high fructose corn syrup in it? Not really, but I believe that's part of what makes it so tasty. It doesn't have the same strong vinegar flavor as other brands, it goes down smoothly, and it doesn't give you heartburn. Ingredients: br>br> Tomato Concentrate with Red Ripe Tomatoes; Vinegar that has been distilled; Corn syrup with a high fructose content; Syrup of corn; Onion Powder; Onion Powder; Onion Powder; Onion Powder; Onion Powder; Natural Flavoring, as well as other ingredients. br>br>Each 1 tbsp. serving contains the following ingredients: There are no fat grams in this product. Those who don't either don't come or bring their own ketchup, yes, we are that particular about ketchup. Despite my numerous allergies, there is nothing in Heinz Ketchup that I am allergic to, which is a huge plus because other brands cause me to break out.
It was clearly a picture of the limited-edition "Tomato Blood" edition when I bought it. I paid an extra fee in the mistaken belief that I would receive it. I received standard issue ketchup, which I am unable to return or receive a refund for. False advertising of the highest order.
I think I should invest in ketchup and jelly. That is one of the daily necessities in this house. My teen eats it with almost every meal, so I was concerned that we would be deprived of it when school was closed and we were sent home. When everyone went insane two weeks ago and started hoarding anything and everything, we were out of ketchup and couldn't find any. So I ordered two bottles of ketchup from Amazon's pantry. They arrived last week, and I put them in the pantry with joy. I thought Amazon would come through, but they didn't. This evening, I opened one of the two bottles and discovered that it had not been sealed. On the inside, there were ketchup stains where the lid wasn't sealed. So I had to throw out that bottle because my mother and grandmother had warned me as a child not to consume anything that had not been properly sealed. Fortunately, I had placed an order for two bottles. The second bottle had been correctly sealed. Because these aren't large bottles, I'm hoping we can find another one before this one runs out. If you order this, make sure it's sealed properly before putting it in your pantry.
I figured it would be fine. My Husband likes to say, "Ketchup is ketchup. " Please accept my apologies, but NOPE. I stopped using Heinz a long time ago, and I was reminded of why. br>The bottle I received was extremely watery, despite my best efforts to shake it. I'm not sure why a company with their level of success always seems to put a watered-down tomato sauce bottle in my hand.
