Although it doesn't contain cane sugar, if you're on a strict keto diet, you might want to look for a different brand because sucralose is generally considered a no-no. This is fine with low carb and dirty keto, and it's delicious.
This was another method I tried to cut down on sugar and carbs. If you think of ketchup as a small squirt on burgers or hot dogs, it's not a big source of these things, but there are times when you'll need a lot of it in the kitchen, like when making cocktail sauce or a classic meatloaf. The taste is outstanding - I'm not missing the sugar that isn't present. It's exorbitantly priced - I'm not sure why it should be more expensive if you don't use sugar. It can now be purchased in larger bottles - Although it is less expensive than regular ketchup, it is still more expensive.
Batman, I'm a big fan of small bottles. br>br>A single french fry could be dipped in this bottle. br>br>Amazon, you can do better. br>br>A larger bottle costs around $2 in supermarkets.
I'm going to give Prime Pantry a shot. This came in with the rest of my belongings. There was no squishing because it was packed well. Today is 6/4/18, and the best by date is 5/23/19, so there should be no issues with expiration. I didn't get that feeling because there were no blemishes on the bottle. You know the one where you put the first one or two on the shelf and get the one in the back because they've been handled so much that they're all scuffed? Yeah. That was not available. In fact, because the other items are all the same, this will be a near-exact review of them as well. Condition of the bottle and label is excellent. It has a clean, new appearance to it. I'm not sure why this makes me think the product inside is better, but if it were, I'd be upset. So far, my first full pantry purchase (7 items I would have bought anyway) has been a positive experience, and I give it 5 stars. Quality, value, ease of use, and appearance are all factors to consider. Check. Even the side flaps of the box didn't have Amazon "taped" handles. (To get to it, you must first open it. ).
What an unusual pairing. Sugar is being produced by an increasing number of companies. I don't go out and buy everything that is sugar-free, but when I do, I try it out to see if it tastes good, and if it does, I know it's a winner. In addition, I have two grandson who smother everything in ketchup. They had no idea it was sugar-free, and they raved about how delicious it was. I guess that's the best recommendation anyone could ask for.
It has a lot of high fructose corn syrup in it. br>Your health is at risk. It has been identified as a significant contributor to the obesity epidemic in the United States. It has been demonstrated that it causes inflammation, which is linked to an increased risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Because of the increased inflammation and uric acid production, it may aggravate inflammatory diseases like gout. It is something that should be avoided at all costs. br>I had assumed it had been phased out by reputable companies, so I was surprised to see it listed on this bottle. Heinz, you should be ashamed of yourself!.
Also, because my kids eat ketchup with everything, I'm concerned about the sugar and sodium content. This is a perfect solution.
Note: Some people may find this ketchup bland without seasoning, so if you're on a low sodium diet, start with half regular and half this. Then gradually cut back on the regular ketchup. You won't even realize it until it's too late. br>Because this stupid little bottle frequently sells out at the grocery store (yet another reason for a larger bottle), I often stretch it by using a non-Heinz brand ketchup with less sodium. You'll have to look around, but some are pretty good when combined with this, resulting in a low sodium ketchup (which, honestly, is what all ketchup should be anyway). It would also aid in the saving of tens of thousands of lives.
