Del Monte Foods Diced New Potatoes, 14.5 oz

The delivery of everything was important to me because I am elderly and need to stay at home. A couple of cans of these potatoes found at such a good price were very welcome to me. I used the canned potatoes in a chicken pot pie I made with canned peas and carrots, canned white meat chicken, cream of chicken soup, and Bisquick biscuits. like how easy it is and how delicious it tastes. In addition to these, there are many other ways to prepare them. There is no doubt in my mind that I will purchase these again.

It is possible that I might see a slight I LIKE IT BUT NOT FOR $4 a can! The foods from this vendor are scalped so I would never purchase food from them again. There is no way this can be justified at these prices It is horrible that people are taken advantage of just for profit. It must be forbidden for this vendor to continue selling!.

A TASTE OF I have a habit of keeping these in my pantry. They are excellent in the face of stress. The best way to eat them is to fry them in a pan or boil them You can tell by the taste. It would be nice to have good potatoes. A can of potato is ALWAYS under $1 in the grocery store ($1 per can If you are from the future, adjust your number for inflation). Therefore, it is impressive that I can get 4 cans delivered to my home for free when I order four for under $4. It seems that Del Monte Foods is doing a pretty good job keeping the canned potato price point consistent. Their cause is close to my heart. I-*- *- DEVELOPMENT OF DURABILITY We receive dented cans from time to time. Amazon sells canned goods, but this pertains to all products. This used to irritate me, but now I don't mind it at all. In any case, most dents are minor. I will ask for a refund if there is a really bad dent. If the chips fall where they may, so be it. I-*- *- INVITATION TO COMPLETE Here's what it all boils down to They are a fantastic deal if you pay the right price (sub $1 in 2021 dollars). The soup I made was enriched by the addition of a few cans. There is no discernible flavor difference between the dice and the soup. Although it is not the same as freshly cooked potatoes, the product is fine for its purpose. I only have a problem with the sodium level since it is higher than it needs to be. I rinsed the potatoes repeatedly after draining them in a colander to remove some of the salt, as no one will eat potatoes just out of a can. Why don't these companies just let us season them to our own tastes instead of adding so much salt to everything?.

Getting my first large order was a huge deal to me. There is nothing wrong with the product, but not with the packaging. Cans bang around because there is nothing to keep them from falling out of the box. An older one has a small ding on it. In the future, we'll be able to ensure that the rest of the order will be properly protected.

They remain hard no matter what you do and taste metallic no matter what you do. Trying to describe it would be nearly impossible since it was so disgusting. My experience was similar to eating a pear instead of a potato in terms of texture.
