I'm newly engaged. I think this is a very good deal! It's hard not to love carrots if you have a baby! I've saved myself from the hassle of grocery stores, masks, and inconsiderate shoppers by buying in bulk during a pandemic. Considering other big box grocery prices are similar to the price per can, the deal is a good deal. It's possible to alter the flavor of carrots before canning them, but the taste appears fresh. I'm happy with the.
The can has been dented, but Libby concealed it when it was sent The order shipped to Amazon* was received a few days ago with the result that just 3 cans are badly dented causing a 25% percent loss. It's an excellent product, but until they stop selling these very rusted cans on Amazon, I will not buy any more Libby You are reading I have always had a great experience with Amazon. The following picture shows the PROOF that Libby's is sending dented cans to Amazon to be sold to consumers unknowingly. All of the cans in the last shipments have been dented In some cases, this will result in the product not being edible. In the center of this case of carrots was a can, which was wrapped in order to be sent to Amazon. If this is severely dented, it might be irreparable. Wrapper appears to be in good shape - no marks on it It is suggested that they re-evaluate For sale to Amazon customers, each package is sealed in your warehouse before it is shipped. We do like the quality and the design, but it's a pity it's broken Most products taste good however, some products taste unpleasantly. As a general rule, but with As far as quality is concerned On the first can, the brown top end of the carrot looked like it had gone bad, maybe by rot or something. Having been through Libby Canneries, I can say the following The reaction I received was very surprising The product contained inside the can had not been contaminated, since we knew that the canning process was not contaminated. However, I will not be ordering any of these Libby canned good sales until they stop sending dented cans -- The fact that they are shipping this way proves that they are. It is a law in the grocery store It is not possible to put dented cans on These are excellent in soups and stews or just plain heated up with garlic [and butter]
An excellent 'evening' snack if you are watching your The tomatoes can be used as a salad topping if they are well drained.
The label on mine is different than what is advertised here on the nutrition label, you will see Vitamin A stated as 150 % the label on yours does not state this. Since carrots are known for their high Vitamin A content, is it possible to completely strip it out now through processing? This is disappointing to me that buyers are being pulled this way, I will look for another brand next time. I am interested in a refund, but am not certain if I will receive one.
I have been purchasing them for decades, but I am disappointed to find several pieces of bad carrot. Normally this is not an issue, but I have a fixed income and need all the value I can get out of it!.
In total, I paid $40 for 12 dented cans (ok, 11 dented cans and 1 intact can), and it took them 3 weeks to get here- it was expensive, though. The term "cool" does not apply here. These cans, before they were labeled (and before they were shipped), were clearly dented. Although the carrots taste good, please understand you are receiving damaged goods, and there is a risk of contamination due to the cans being damaged.
Charges that overcharge.
Amazon and seller corrected the issue. This was edited I responded quickly, and Amazon refunded the purchase price to me. The seller will be my first choice for future purchases. I appreciate your kind words. A waste of money. There was no use for 10 of the 12 cans, they were too badly dented to be useful. This is a non-returnable product. I will not order again, such a poorly designed and made.
All but 4 of the 12 cans were dented. I've already tried them many times, so I make no guesses about their taste. *Not sure if it is safe to consume dented cans
Don't think dented cans are a good idea
