While I like ugh's company and have tried many of their flavor packets such as tacos, fajitas, and chili, this sloppy joe wasn't as good as their other offerings. directions call for tomato paste, but the paste totally overpowers the spices in this recipe. In my opinion, it would be better to use tomato sauce instead of paste because the paste is just so strong and there is not much liquid added to the dish to dilute it. This dish would have been better if it had been served with tomato sauce. Additionally, if you want your sloppy joes to have a touch of sweetness, add a little honey. The honey was missing, and I found that the strong paste made it taste like a meat sauce you would put over I love it.
