Although the product is tasty and enjoyable, some of the containers were broken and mold developed. I'm a little let down. I paid full price for a product that I only used half of. br>Make sure the carrier is more accountable for delivering the packages without smashing them!.
I'm a disabled person who can't stand or walk for long periods of time, and I used to avoid eating because it took too much time and effort to prepare a meal, even in the microwave. These meals have been a lifesaver for me. I am confident that I am consuming nutritious food that also tastes great. For me, this is the ideal lunch.
This flavor is a letdown for me. I had previously purchased a flavor that included farro in addition to the quinoa and had thoroughly enjoyed it, so when I saw "pesto," I thought to myself, "Ooh, I like pesto!" Well, I'm not a fan of this product because the quinoa lacks texture, making it feel like I'm eating pesto from a jar with a spoon. I'm not a big fan of pesto! It requires a chewy/crunchy texture, such as farro or water chestnuts. And I should have read the nutritional information before placing my order. I know pesto uses olive oil as a liquid, but this had so much oil (I forgot the source) that it was 400 calories. Worse, it provided a whopping 32% daily dose of sodium. I brought this back home, where I will use the pesto part in cooking with chicken and pasta, and the quinoa as a side dish for other meals, because it seems bland.
I bought this for work because I work overnights and ordering every night was causing me to gain weight. br>br>This hit the spot and is delicious whether you heat it first or eat it cold. We wanted to cut down on the amount of grains we ate at home, so we gave quinoa a try a year ago. We were put off by the odor, flavor, and texture. The quinoa with jalapeo and roasted peppers surprised us with how good it could taste, and it was a welcome return to the world of quinoa.
