There's no way to tell if it's made with squash

Unlike homemade risotto, this doesn't need to be stirred frequently. That is one of its strong points. Along with the arborio rice, you'll get an orange powder seasoning packet. I'm guessing there's some dehydrated and powdered butternut squash in there. Nutmeg was the only flavor I was certain I had. According to the package, two minutes of toasting the rice in a little olive oil, followed by two cups of water and a half-cup of salt is required. a glass of milk I usually use mostly chicken broth and a splash of white wine to make homemade risotto, and this risotto mixture does turn out creamy. If you like nutmeg, you can make this without the butternut squash risotto by substituting different liquids, but if you want butternut squash risotto, make it yourself.

Extremely salty, with no discernible squash flavor. Just a pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of black pepper. I'm not going to purchase anything else.
