Annie's tastes much better than Kraft! I have never eaten PastaRoni, but I would say that it's a step up from Kraft! Despite its simplicity, this mac & cheese is packed with flavor It's cheese time!
As of a month ago, I bought a pink bunny shape and it still doesn't say that it's tasty. There is only one blue box I have seen so far. I still feel the same way about this, and my kids find it fantastic.

"Yummier than ever" is written on the box. This bag of cheese was supposed to be bad. It's not as tasty as our kids thought, at least not to their taste buds. My knowledge is that Annie's was purchased. Taking this step is not a wise move.
Annie's mac and cheese is loved by everyone in my family. My life was spent eating it and I have trusted the brand to feed my children, but I am shocked at the decline of its In fact, the boxes did not come in the purple large box as shown in the image, but rather came in a shrink-wrapped container The 12 items in the package are individually wrapped. When I opened the shrink wrap, I noticed that there was a little bit of cheese powder inside. I should have been able to tell from that. Three boxes of mac and cheese were pulled from my Amazon order for a playdate when I first made mac and cheese from those boxes. Out of three I opened, I found one cheese packet to have a defective seal. That was my first guess as to why there was powder in the packaging and the rest of the boxes should be fine. There is no such thing as an innocent mistake. I served macaroni and cheese to my family today, and when I tried to open a box to get the cheese, I had to open three before I found it. As I opened the first six boxes, I found three of them to be defective. After discovering this, I opened the last six to see if any other seals had broken. The seals on FIVE of the six bottles were broken! 8 out of the 12 have participated in at least two of the contests We were unable to use THREE QUARTERS of the samples. There is no way this can be tolerated! The mac and cheese items from my Amazon order weren't used right away because I had to use up several store boxes. It is now past the return window since I had to use up the store products. if you can, how would you return something that you've already opened? Generally, I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. I fear that Annie's products are becoming less and less durable. As for the boxes that were not defective, I am giving it 2 stars.
I can't even stand it anymore! They have changed the cheese sauce recipe at Annie's. Yummier than ever with their "Yummier than ever" collection! It is DISGUSTING to eat cheese sauce! **I used to LOVE the original version, before they were bought out around 2 years ago, before they began changing the recipes (this recipe within the last month or so), before this cheese sauce was infused with whatever it seems to be making it fluorescent (hint Color has nothing to do with turmeric! )

Those of you that are reading this know already that this is a significantly better deal than buying boxes at the grocery store, and it's likely you've enjoyed Annie's before, so I'll take this opportunity to explain something that is amazingly simple and can elevate your experience dramatically. The noodles should be cooked according to the package directions, drained, and set aside. Melt, in the now empty pot, 2 tablespoons of butter (I don't know the measurement, but it's not a lot). Dust the melted butter lightly with flour to prevent it from sticking to the surface. My Wonder quick blue cylinder is empty so I have to get another one If you do not have a mix, you can add a pinch of regular white flour. With a rubber spatula, mix the ingredients until smooth, and add a few drops of Add a few more drops of milk once it has thickened. Stir in the cheese packet and seasoning packet (oregano, Frank's hot sauce, if you're making Buffalo Mac). Add another splash of milk when it thickens, remove heat, and mix in the cheese packet, black pepper, and the cheese. Some times I will include some spinach or cooked sweet peas to give it a bit more green, but the general concept is that it adds almost zero time and no extra dishes and getting you a thicker, more awesome version of Annie's.
It's awful that this new "Yummier Than Ever" flavor is so bad. The ingredients are cheap and it tastes cheap. As opposed to the creamy texture and mild flavor of the original, it lacks those attributes. You have been warned if you're a fan of the original. Compared to the one at Kraft, this one tastes a lot more like.
Among all cheese brands, white cheddar is their favorite. The fact that it does not have any artificial colors or flavors is a big plus for me. Also, it's good to know that organic pasta is available. The whole thing should be made organic, I just wish they would do it. Before I cook the noodles, I always add 1/4 cup of milk (usually whole milk) to the powder and stir it up right away with the cheese powder. As soon as the noodles are done, I drain them and add the butter. When the powder and milk have mixed for some time, they are ready to use. After adding the milk/cheese mixture to the noodles, I add it to the hot Using whole milk instead of skim milk will give it a better texture and make it appear more "cheesy" on the noodles. There is a great price for these at This is a great deal for what they usually sell for at my grocery store, which is about $2 per box. This Macaroni & cheese is great tasting, and I like how substantial and healthy it is compared to some other pastas It is made up of cheese. It takes longer to cook the noodles than the other types because they are more substantial. While this is a tasty snack, it is not a super quick treat to make, it does take some time. I especially enjoy the white cheddar flavor. I liked it because it wasn't salty and it was Great product! I would buy it.
