I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Keep it from hitting you. You can use the claw feature on a can opener and go up under the lid, lift until the seal is popped, and then remove.
Though I would check Wild Planet's site, I think that this is one of the big reasons for me to go the extra mile of polling and catching trolls. I'm pretty sure albacore contains more mercury than skipjack, though. They're much bigger and have thus consumed a lot more small fish, so after switching back to skipjack, I am pretty sure it has more mercury.
There is a note on my package that reads This product is made Additionally, it says "No BPA is used in the pouch lining.". Contains no genetically modified organisms. As far as we can tell, this is a superior product that is better for the environment as well.

Recently, I watched an article about how whale sharks, those big beautiful fish that swim slowly in the pacific and that people snorkel with often, are endangered due to fishing practices that use outlandish long nets to catch everything that swims by. It's illegal to use these nets in a lot of places, but it's deemed legal in hardly any places, and endangered whale sharks are being sold around the world and mislabeled as tunas. the reason why catching the line is so essential. It's essential that our world has healthy seas that balance each other, so it has an abundance of resources. Our planet can be better cared for if we become better stewards.
Today, I was able to receive my dozen jars of albacore tuna. There are so many good things about this product, and I like seeing what I am buying while buying. And I prefer glass jars over Cleaning the jars allows me to store all sorts of small items in them. It should look and taste like this. (I do add more salt to mine because that is the way I enjoy it). Those are natural juices from the tuna that you see in the jar. Throw it out, but do not trash it. There is no need to discard the tuna juice. It goes in with the albacore tuna in whatever form it's prepared in. This is a high pressure canned product. I use a regular kitchen grips jar opener to remove the cap on this particular product.
My cat gets a tablespoon of the juice every now and then. The kitchen jar opener is nearly impossible for me to open these days. You can open the lid with just one quick motion and it will not damage the jar. Peters Select packages this product in a way that is spotless. Never one bit of damage. Excellent work. There are no dents on the lids of the jars. It is perfection.
I use to store this in my lunchbox. It's delicious by itself, a little salty, but I like it that way. Tuna that is canned doesn't have the incredible flavor that this tuna does. Go ahead and spend a little more if you're buying for yourself or a foodie with a discerning palate. The tuna is too expensive for those on a budget, so move along.
There is no flaked tuna here instead, it has been processed into a square and tastes awful. Food from the future. It makes me think of futuristic This dish is nothing like the tuna I love, which is a horrible version of it. Don't do it!.
Many years ago, when I was growing up, I used to eat white chunk tuna like this. this tuna just doesn't seem to be happening for a number of reasons. THESE are tasteful, white and make one wicked tuna salad when combined with hard boiled eggs, tarragon, chopped black olives and good quality mayonnaise. THIS will make a regular appearance on the menu. Does it cost a lot? No way! The reason is I'M A LOT CHEAPER THAN EATING OUT AT LUNCH AND IT'S BETTER FOR ME!.
But compared to the "big" brands, it contains too much extra liquid. Instead of dumping the packet in the food processor and running it, I have to drain this brand. First time I was mopping up water as I made salad. The idea of this type of packaging does not seem to work. In any case, it is.
There will never be a day when I do not have these tuna pouches in my pantry. My husband and I love these products! This 3-pack of pouch tuna is much better than canned tuna, and I love the way the pouches look I like to use the ounce size because it is just the right size for a very hearty one. One is encouraged to take part in the sustainability campaign by eating cardboard with a slight flavor of tuna, but it is not worth it to eat cardboard with a slight flavor of tuna.
