Like many others, I was hesitant to pay $20 for four cans of tuna, and frankly was somewhat taken aback at the size of the can once it arrived. I am here to tell you that once I opened the can and tried it, all was forgotten and forgiven. Tuna fish like this can truly be compared to the tuna fish of Before the leading big tuna companies became more interested in profits than sustainability, product pride, and customer satisfaction, tuna was more like it used to be. My two local upscale grocery stores' delis had become the source of my pre-packaged tuna several years ago since I had stopped buying canned tuna from the grocery store several years ago because I had started to feel like I was eating cat food tuna I made tuna salad for lunch. The best but not the best. Meanwhile, the quality of the tuna they sell has been deteriorating for the past couple of months. The first thing which came to mind when I read about Ortiz, did my research, was that there really isn't much difference between the pre-war model and the post-war model My money is being spent on junk that is made in China. It was so pleasing to give it a try and am so glad I did. The tuna from this company has a great taste, and, from what I've read, no ocean is being raped to harvest it, which is wonderful.

After tasting the former I almost gave these away after buying them at the same time as the Ventresca. Then I realized just how glad I was that I There are no words to describe how delicious they are. In my opinion, this is now my favorite Ortiz product (yes, it beats the Mackerel in a Jar). Just to say, it is SO good that you wonder why you didn't get it when you were a child. There is no salt in it. I like this sauce with cream cheese on crackers for its delicate and mild flavor. My order for 6 more cans came in yesterday after I purchased 2 cans yesterday. There was this tonno in a can I had several years ago that I quite liked. Clearly, this is a much better approach. Since the oil in which it was packed is so flavorful, I was even tempted to drink it. As long as Amazon offers it for a reasonable price, I hope this will be available there. There was one review which stated a purchase of 4 cans was 20 dollars. It is evident that the cost has nearly doubled in recent years. Having tasted this tuna, you will never be able to eat any other type again.

It was a pleasant surprise to find a brand of canned tuna that I enjoyed. The majority of the reviews lead me to purchase a different brand, which is the same price point but The music of Ortiz Bonito Del Norte is amazing, in my humble opinion. You can pack this in olive oil and enjoy it. In comparison with tuna packed with water, it is noticeably moister. This was my first time trying this brand, and I would definitely purchase.

I used it when making marinara sauce. My first attempt at making this recipe was with regular canned tuna. The food didn't taste very good either. I remade the pasta as soon as I received this tuna, and it tasted like a completely different thing. Tuna in this can from the U. K. packs a punch of flavor, and is chunkier than tuna from the U. S. Despite the fact that it came in a pack of 4, it is too expensive for me to order again and I don't even think I will use it again without thinking about it beforehand.
