Originally made by BumbleBee Premium, this product is now made by Kirkland. *br>All tuna are naturally occurring (there are no tuna farms on land like there are for many other species of Polemic is not what this is about Dolphins can also be caught by net and line (which is more expensive and sustainable). Despite what they claim on the can, their advertising is quite deceptive (another result of a lawsuit filed in 2019).
Although I do not know for sure, I suspect "6 cents" is a typo and should read There are 8 cans in the package, so the size is 7 oz each (not 5 oz like the little cans at the supermarket). The cost per ounce is around fifty or so cents. This is the best I can do.
It would be my responsibility to tell Amazon that they had arrived damaged and I wouldn't
You can return this item to Costco even if you don't want it. In this case, you will only receive We've got 99 back on it now. As a result, I would either wait until Costco has it in stock before buying or wait for it to be on backorder. Two extra cans are being offered at twice the price by this individual.

Since I was a child, Kirkland tuna was my favorite because it was FAR superior to anything else I've ever tried. As long as it was worth the higher price, I did not mind Unfortunately, the quality of the last two orders I received from Amazon has gotten WAY worse. Solid white albacore packed in water is listed as the item description. Both of my last two orders (8 cans each) have been really greasy. My mouth has been watering and my stomach is gagging because the smell and flavor are really fishy. some of the tuna was brown in some of the cans. It's a shame I can't buy this again, but I'll avoid it in the future. Prior to 2004, the quality of the products was very good.
3% cholesterol and 15. 5% Because we are seniors, we were told to order lower sodium/cholesterol products, but it seems we were ordering a tuna product that contained 7%/8%! Furthermore, you will not be able to return it! Where does the story come from? A star rating) I caution you (BUYER What you read in the advertisement is not what you receive, even if it is packaged in a similar way!.
I don't know how to return it. The advertisement is advertised at zero dollars Weighs 0. 06 ounce. I made a terrible mistake with my Pantry budget because of bad math. Kirkland (Costco) brand is a favorite of mine, but this trip put a huge dent in my budget when 8 cans for $25+ were available to me.
As described, it is exactly what is described, but be aware of the per-ounce pricing. A local store had a far lower price and it took two weeks for this to arrive. I made a mistake purchasing this item, but the buyer should know the difference between the price and quality. Shop at your local store. Pandemic pricing gouging of significant magnitude.
It came as a great surprise to us that all but one of the cans were damaged or dented. Since the plastic wrap was intact and did not show any signs of damage, we suspect that the cans were damaged before being wrapped. Damage appears to have been caused by a machine that is preventing us from using our electric can opener. information is for your information, since the contents of these cans are expected to be usable, but we don't know for sure until we open them How should we handle these? Should we use them or should they be returned? Modjeski, Jim.
I think one can of tomato sauce is more than sufficient for a sandwich or salad for two people. If you see the value of this product, you'll definitely spend the money on it. Highly recommended.
The solid white tuna from Kirkland is better than the one from Bumble Bee, longtime Then there's Chicken of the Sea, which is my firmer pick. The second. This is a vast improvement. The Kirkland solid white is still white since it is still solid. That may sound crazy but other brands of solid white tuna are becoming less solid and less white. It is consistent and of high quality, as opposed to my experiences with bumble bees in recent years, where the contents are a bit of a surprise when they are opened. An occasional really good tan can be solid and white, all but impossible sometimes, and resting somewhere in the middle most of the time. It is the high quality of Kirkland's that That's a pretty good deal, isn't it? The tuner also comes in a can with a 7 oz capacity, which I find useful. This was the standard for a long time, but the tuna can has been getting smaller in terms of weight while the size has increased. Until the end of the year, Bumblebee will be a 5-star Most brands package their cans as an 8-ounce size, and that really applies to most. That distasteful business practice in which we shrink the pound of coffee, the pint of ice cream, and even the size of our hotel rooms A way of raising the price of Dazs or tuna cans in packaging that looks the same in a way that may not be readily noticed, my personal preference. Apart from that, I also enjoy the 7 oz cans because they simply After opening the tuna can, draining the water, and grading the tuna, mix the tuna in with the mayonnaise and serve. This is a lot of work, so I will be happy with the extra sandwich I seem to get out of a Anyway, I digress and rant a bit. We are going to focus on a very simple point I love Kirkland's solid white tuna, because this is the best there is. It is available here at a great price. If you live alone like I do, then I understand not buying that many cans, but still you will be able to keep your favorite on hand. It took Amazon a short time and graciously to resolve my can delivery issue, but I thank them for their quickly and gracious services (Thank.
I have never tried tuna cans before and the only negative I noticed was that they were a little salty. However, you can fix that by rinsing them Next time we bought this, it was on sale for 16 cans - you couldn't do better than that with The tuna we purchased is wonderful so far and we have not experienced any difficulties. If you get skipjack, you'll almost never find any dark fillers because albacore tuna has dark fillers naturally. Personally I dislike this part of the dish I like the whole thing everyone prefers tuna in a different way. At the grocery store it is not possible to beat it for the same price. A five-ounce bottle of water costs $2 at the grocery store here.
