The product is not safe for pregnant women or women who are trying to become pregnant, according to an alert on the cans. The state of California prohibits the sale of this product. Following my investigation, I discovered that certain Chinese fishing areas contain high levels of lead and other contaminants. I attempted to return this terrifying product, but Amazon refused to accept it. Period! If you want mussels, buy them from somewhere other than China. These should never, ever be sold in the United States. Period!.

I had previously received a 12-count subscription from the same company, and it was one of the most delectable smoked oysters I had ever encountered. Unfortunately, it was no longer available. As a result, I ordered the 18 count, but the batch I received was disgusting! The new order's cottonseed oil tasted like water, and the oysters inside were bland. It ranges in rating from five to one. Was it a rip-off or a genuine product? I wish I could go back in time and send them back. Now I'm hesitant to place another order. I'm going to try a new brand.
