Polar Kipper Snacks - Smoked & Boneless Herring Fillets (Pack of 4) 3.53 oz Cans

I ordered this product, but they sent "Salmon". The company sent the wrong item, so I tried to send it back, but they refused to pay for the postage - and I wasn't going to do it myself! The "Kippersnacks smoked and boneless herring" is a great product, but this company that supports it is terrible. Try buying it somewhere else because it is a great product, but this company is horrible. Do something good for someone else with your money. Instead of going to POLAR, I've decided to go directly there to purchase this item. Despite liking salmon, I had hoped for the herring as a Christmas present, but I have to settle for salmon for now. In my opinion, Polar's products are delicious, but this particular Amazon order was handled by a shady company. Please do not take the chance.

It is meaty and smokey. I didn't find the slime to be offensive. The flavor of fish is not repulsive as some and the texture is not mushy. (Will make a superb sandwich with hot sauce, mayo, onions, or cheese. ), and delicious straight There are so many of these things that I could practically live off of them.

The cheap, easy way to share that Scottish/British specialty in Middle America - kipper fillets straight from the fridge - usually costs less than a pair of kippers. Hot kippers with bread n butter is the perfect.
