The number of sodium milligrams in one serving is 1200. There is a serving size of 2 ounces (about 6 pieces) after draining. Around two of them exist. In each 6-cup pot, serve 5 servings (drained) The tin has an ounce capacity.
The Matjes herring needs to be kept refrigerated, so as long as it's shipped in a container that keeps the fish cold, it should be okay. If it's exposed to heat or warm temperatures, I don't know if it will be ok.

From the old country, this is the real deal. Dinner at the midsummer table is a must. The rest of the summer will be busy as well. The Swedish way of serving this dish is to put sour cream on top of the herring pieces, sprinkle chopped chives over the top, and serve it with boiled potatoes on the side. Take a bite of each on your fork and you will be There should be a penalty for serving this in any other way! By the way, one can per person is the right amount. A bit pricey but what are you gonna.
The Matjes herring was bought as a gift by someone who is aware of how much I love the fish. Unfortunately, not all Matjes are created equal, and the style I like the most is the German/Dutch version. The meat is simply brined with no other flavors added. My palate finds this Swedish version disgusting, since it is spiked with sugar, vinegar, and spices (cloves and maybe cinnamon, yes) that I cannot imagine how it can taste good. I think the packaging indicates as much (nothing about how horrifying it would be for those who don't like sugary fish), but I wish they would call the product by a different name so as to avoid It is fortunate for me that I have a Danish co-worker The five other tins were happily taken by the worker who loved the food!.
I found exactly what I wanted. The product is exactly what I wanted. Upon receiving the herrings, we were pleased with their condition, and we have already enjoyed our first batch. I was happy that the product was shipped without an ice pack since it shipped quickly (one day). As a perishable product, this is okay because cool weather and quick shipping allow it to last. If you live in a hot climate or during the summer, I would not recommend ordering this product. Another "but" is that the expiration date is within three months -- It would have been nice if this had been included.
It is our favorite herring to eat, Matches. Earlier, we were able to enjoy it in Sweden, and we now can enjoy it here in the United States. It's so easy to make I had sour cream with my matjes herring, boiled potato, and chopped chives.
Packaging for the herring was excellent, and it arrived in perfect condition. I really liked the taste and texture of this dish. Basic tastes are my favorite, not sauces with a lot of flavor. I think it is the right thing to do.

The delivery was fast, and the chocolate was tasty, however some of the cans were I am not certain what the safety of the product is.
Upon receipt of the package, the juice inside the box was leaking from the cans. In some cases, the juice leaked out of the can, but in others, it wasn't.
