It's impossible for me to believe. These items are manufactured in China! My husband noticed on the package that they are from over there, and I had never looked before. Yikes. I read labels carefully for ingredients and nutritional information, but I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for this now. br>br>Aside from that, they're practical and tasty.
The desires of my husband are extremely diverse. If I purchase a large quantity of something. Half or more of a large can of pineapple may be wasted, so these individual containers meet our needs. Husband's appetite was HORRIBLE after surgery. However, a small serving size like these didn't overwhelm him, and he was able to SELF SERVE whenever he felt hungry. br>These seem like they'd be good for brown bag lunches or kids' lunches. I believe these contain no added sugar, and I have tried them and found them to be delicious! It's not exactly new, but it'll do for now. Have you got time to go out and buy a real one, chop it up, and eat it all before it spoils? No, I don't believe so!.
I purchased the tidbits with the intention of cooking with them. I've got some new pork and chicken recipes that call for pineapple, and I didn't want to open an entire can just to use one serving. This recipe is ideal for cooking for one person. And, if you like canned pineapple (I don't), these would be a convenient snack to have on hand. When you "cook" this, it's fantastic! "I'd like to put some on my homemade pizza!".
When the product was packed, there was no way of knowing if it was of good quality Thank you for lining my food with penicillin and dried fruit. Two cups were punctured, allowing more gifts to grow inside; the rest of the box was undamaged.
Broken. Everything else in the box had to be washed out of the juice, the box had disintegrated, and the box marked this side up had been placed on its side, obviously not very gently. The juice had run out due to broken fruit cups. The seals on the plastic cups were all broken, as well. This makes me angry.
However, I am dissatisfied with the shipping method. br>My last two orders were sent in brown bags. These were dropped off at my house. The little cartons had been ripped open and the cups had come loose by the time they arrived at my house. A cup did not open either time, but if it does, it will be a disaster for all of the mail in my mailbox! HELP!.
Although they taste good, the consistency of these tiny morsels disappointed me. They're firm and almost crunchy, as if they came from a pineapple that wasn't quite ripe; I prefer a softer pineapple. Of course, these are great for a lunch bag or when you only need a few pieces of something (like pizza topping) and don't want to open a larger can or deal with an entire pineapple. They're extremely well-sealed, and I've never had one leak in my lunch bag. I've been trying to eat more fruits and vegetables, and these make it super simple to keep a single serving of fruit on hand at all times.
This product is excellently made by Dole. br>br>You receive four cups, each containing four ounces of delicious pineapple. For those using exchange lists, one cup is considered 1 Fruit Exchange, has 60 calories, 135 mg potassium, 15g total carbs (1g dietary fiber, 14g sugar), 50% of the recommended% This fruit bowl is convenient and healthy (only fruit, juice, and ascorbic/citric acid) as a snack or as part of a meal. I've had them both chilled and at room temperature. chilled; Regardless of how they are served, they taste like fresh pineapple to me. br>br>Be careful when opening the cup because the juice will spill all the way to the top, but the seal will come off without jerking (at least for me). I've had no problems opening the bowls and haven't had any spills.
