In the US, one serving size is four ounces, which is one bowl. In each package, there are four bowls.
This is a product I use a lot, and I have encountered the same problem as you. There are probably one out of every twenty cups of red grapefruit that contains broken pieces as opposed to the whole wedges. As the cups move along the packing line, I imagine that automatic machines are filling each cup with grapefruit. The machines contain a programmed amount of grapefruit per cup, but I doubt that they are aware of or care about packing wedge shapes based on the cup size. A 4 ounce quantity is all you need. The taste of everything is good to me, so I don't mind at all. Even though I enjoy the occasional cup full of pieces as much as I love the perfect wedges of grapefruit, I still appreciate the cups full of delicious wedges I can't help but get upbeat.

In the two boxes of grapefruit sections I ordered, both arrived intact, and I enjoy When I ordered another box, the bottom of the display box had mold on it and there was a small stain on the small four-inch square My pack of packs was sticky and moldy, so I threw them My subscription to this product will be canceled and I will no longer purchase it.
The little red grapefruit cups in these little packets are barely edible. I'm a red grapefruit fan, but these are tiny and unpalatable. Compare them to Del Monte's red grapefruit products and you'll find them mushy. In addition, these are also almost impossible to open without a knife to cut around the inside of the rim, and then carefully pulling away the Therefore, this renders the "portability" factor useless. A child or elderly person might have a hard time gripping the lid and prying it When they do finally get the lid off, they find that the juice/water squirts out and drenches them as well as everything that surrounds them. Red grapefruit bowls from Del Monte are MUCH better, in my opinion- There is MUCH more fruit in the 7 oz bowls and they are MUCH easier to open and enjoy, as they do not spill juice all over.
Just yesterday, December 10, I received my Dole grapefruit in the mail. On September 7, 2018, the expiration date will be reached. It is not acceptable for me or my family to eat food that is over a year old.
I agree with others who pointed out that the glue is super strong and when you open it, you get juice all over your hands. As an alternative, they should adopt some sort of pull system This type of system uses tabs. Even better, get in touch with the folks at 3M and have them manufacture a superior However, I must admit that it's an extremely delicious and convenient product. I've eaten too many of them to keep A brief update As a result of months of coviding Practicing, we each (as separate students) found a way to open these by "tipping" the juice away from the opening and pinning it with care. What type of glue or design is new? Who knows, but upgrading to a 5 star rating. I like it.
I've had it in the refrigerated section of the produce department of the store and it has a slightly mushier texture than the Del Monte SunFresh 64oz jars. Furthermore, the taste was not truly fresh, but rather more sharp and They are probably cooked in such a way to keep them in a sealed package for a long period of time. A difference in stability is like the difference between fresh and canned peaches (they're pretty much It should be noted that I purchased these because they were shelf-stable Due to an odd situation involving two minis, I need one to be stable and the other to be In my house, we have a chest freezer in place of a regular refrigerator, so cool space is at a premium, so large packages like jars will have to be packed into tinier containers, so if I receive that, I need to package it into smaller containers. It would also be nice if they had sugar You can choose to buy a free liquid option (as Del Monte does), as well as the packed kind Due to diabetes, grapefruits are really helpful to me balancing my blood sugar. This is why I am crazy for grapefruit juice but they don't seem like a natural diet. A glass of juice is preferable to a glass of water As for the juice, it is still basically like soda with vitamins (but I can't just throw out the syrup). Surely they taste better refrigerated, and the little cups are not difficult to fit into my tiny iceboxes, and I've started getting used to the texture and taste. However, I'm trying very hard to eliminate as much plastic from my food purchases as possible. The cups are made of plastic, and the paper is tearable Snap-on plastic film tops aren't as environmentally friendly as reusable ones You can find them on the I recognize it reduces product tampering and leaks, but I can't bring myself to accept that my fruit habit is causing more pollution and disruption of hormones. The next time I'm in the monster cave, I'm going to have to go back to step 2- Filling a DelMonte jar three quarters full and repacking the contents into a small jam jar that I keep for the.
There have never been a shipment of grapefruit this bad! The shipment in question is my first experience of this kind. This grapefruit has arrived better in the past with segments to eat than those I've gotten in the past. You can see some of the pictures here. Both sides of the bowls are obviously leaking the contents are gone, not just the juice. The cartons, two of them, are black, with Does mold grow in your home? The two packs were of a total of four. Later, when I opened up the rest of the bags, I discovered that there were no grapefruit segments in any of the bowls. Three of the bowls seem to have segments in them, but I'm afraid to eat any of them. In the return option, instead of 'return or replace', 'return' was selected. It is not possible for me to return them. It looks like mush on the other side of 2 due to the lack of edible segments. This is illustrative since on 2 I demonstrated there were no edible segments. The refund is what I would like! Try to keep it as simple as.
I learned that I had missed one of the damaged cartons when I looked closer. A gnat had swarmed over the fruit cup and it was full of mold because it had been exposed to the sun. All the rest of the cups were thrown away after that because I was too grossed out to eat It is very unlikely that the remaining ones would be problematic, but I simply didn't want to risk it.
some looked grainy as the slices had lost their color. The ball of mold from one cup I had emptied was still in the cup. In the same pack of four, however, the other three cups appeared to be perfect. I was not pleased with the overall value since about one third of what I bought had to be thrown away. The only problem is that they are almost impossible to find anywhere!.
