The best part is that Dole fruit cups do not need to be kept in the refrigerator, so you can buy a lot of them and store them on a shelf.
I recently purchased two 24-cup packs for the price of two. 50$. br>So $5 for 48 cups. br>I was surprised; I believe it drops in price every now and then; I assumed they were about to expire, but they are still months away.

Seaweed-based carrageenan is a food additive. It's used as a thickener in ice cream, jelly, chocolate milk, infant formula, and cottage cheese, among other things. It's a vegetarian and vegan substitute for gelatin. br>br> It has been used in Ireland and China for hundreds of years, but only in the last 50 years has it made inroads into modern food processing. Drying, grounding, filtration, potassium hydroxide treatment, cellulose removal by centrifuge, concentration by evaporation, drying, and grounding are all steps in the seaweed processing process. Surprisingly, the Philippines produce the vast majority of the world's carrageenan supply. Carrageenan has been linked to intestinal lacerations and tumors in some animal studies. A meta-analysis published in 2001 found that 45 peer-reviewed articles were studied. Carrageenan consumption has been linked to gastrointestinal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, according to a review of studies. br>br>The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has declared carrageenan safe, based on scientific evidence. research that has been funded Carrageenan has also been deemed safe by European agencies and the World Health Organization, with the exception of infant formula. The concern is that the large carrageenan molecules may be too much for a baby's gut to handle. Carrageenan can cause intestinal discomfort or even death in some people.
AMAZON HAS RECEIVED A ZERO! Read! First and foremost, Dole is one of my favorite fruits. However, the title/description indicates that you will receive six (6) four packs. These delightful little cups come in a set of four. However, you are only given one. You do not receive the six points that they claim. There are even six packs in the photo! Someone needs to do a better job, as I've discovered that this is a recurring issue.
I should have paid closer attention to the product description. I really like this stuff, and I thought I was getting four packs of four, but I only got one, so I paid $23 for it. The number 08 can be broken down into five digits. For one small cup, you're paying $77! OUCH! My bad.
I have four cups, and there are no six-packs available (a big lie for the money). Just a few days ago, I got six packs of four cups for nearly the same amount of money. What exactly is the issue here?.
This is the last time I'll buy anything from Amazon. Everything was fine the first time I ordered this item ($13). The second and now third and final time I've had to file for return/replace, I paid $55 for a CASE, which contains six of the four packs. DO NOT PURCHASE FOR $13. 55 cents for a four-pack of jello!.
The pineapple-lime gel has a nice consistency. br>It's also worth mentioning the peach gel. The mandarin orange gel, on the other hand. br>In the box that arrived, two of the four packets were broken and leaked, with thickly dried residue stuck to the pkg. br>IN ADDITION, Regardless of how careful I was, the mandarin orange gel splashed all over the top I was wearing as soon as I opened a SEALED cup of it. br>I took out a second sealed cup and opened it. with care br>EXACTLY THE SAME. br>(With the lime pineapple gel or the peach gel, there was no splashing. ) Those were both fine. )br> Perhaps it was the JUICE from the mandarin oranges that caused the contents to be so drippy and splashy. If you order this, keep in mind that it's probably not the best thing to put in your child's lunch box, especially if he or she is a picky eater. the day of the photo shoot Neither on the day of a job interview, nor on the day of a job application. br>Just to be clear, this mandarin orange gel does not contain any artificial flavors. It was exactly the flavor I had requested. br>And the taste of the sealed cup was fine. br>It would be a good value if there were no issues. br>However, for a gel that does not require refrigeration, it is incredibly messy.
I got 36 loose cups this time, each with a different (Dole) label stating that they were a product of Thailand, and I had just eaten one that I purchased through Amazon Fresh (Reg label) and then tried one of these. It has an unusual flavor. Although I'm sure they're fine, I'd rather get something familiar.
If you ask me, this is misleading advertising. It says that there are four packs of six containers in the package. I order two, which means I'll get 12 packs of fruit cups, but when the order arrives, there are only two packs of fruit cups, which is a HUGE disappointment! Amazon's product descriptions, in my opinion, are not checked.
