I've been buying the 48 oz bags for a long time, but when I went online to order again, the 48 oz bag was more expensive than it had been. I continued my search and discovered a 64 oz bag (a size I had never seen before) at a much lower per pound price, though I was concerned that what was displayed and what I would receive might not be identical. br>I was pleasantly surprised by the speed with which the item arrived. It was, in fact, a 64-ounce bag with a July 22, 2022 expiration date. It comes in a resealable bag and appeared to be much fresher than the 48 oz bags I had previously received.
The product does not appear to be as fresh as previous orders. It appears to be parched. Before using the Craisins, I recommend soaking them in warm water for a few minutes to plump them up. Before you eat them, give them a chance to regenerate. The packaging differs from that of my previous shipment. Previous orders' "Slide" zip closures have been replaced with a faulty standard ziploc. When I first tried to unzip the new/standard ziploc, it immediately pulled away from the bag. isn't usable anymore. I had to divide the 64 oz bag into two equal parts. I have a variety of ziploc bags.
The dried cranberries/Crasins arrived quickly and were well wrapped. It was a big bag, just what I needed. Oatmeal cookies with Craisins and White Chocolate Chips was a new cookie recipe that I wanted to try. I continued to buy regular-sized bags of cranberries, but my family devoured them in a matter of days. The cookies will come to life in this economy size, but I'll have to keep them hidden! (If you want to try them, the recipe comes from Quaker Oats. ).

Yea! Craisins have been a staple in my diet for years because they are a nutritious snack with no sulfites or high fructose corn syrup. When purchased in a supermarket, they can be quite pricey, but this size, now available from Amazon, makes them quite affordable! Great as a quick snack or as a topping for cornbread (alone or with coconut, apples, bananas, nuts, etc. ). ) or used as a meat compote or sauce The list goes on and on. I adore them, and I'm thrilled to have the 64-ounce version. Available in a large size!.
The craisins are extremely sweet and moist. The fruit stays fresh because the bag seals easily once opened. I rinsed them a little to get rid of some of the sugar coating, but they still taste sweet. I sprinkle them on top of my cereal to boost the fiber content. I'll be placing another order for a bag in the near future.
This colossal bag (weighing in at 4 pounds!) ) is a fantastic value, not only in terms of price (which is fantastic! ), but also in terms of quality (which is excellent! ) but I don't have to purchase them on a regular basis. We use them in baking, granola, and my husband's favorite way to consume them is straight from the bag. The last time I ordered them, I received two bags, and the box from Amazon was quite heavy due to the hardback book that was also included. But with 8 pounds on hand, I'm sure I'll be ready for holiday cooking!.
Put them in the freezer! Every day, I open it from the top shelf of my freezer. The ziplock's slide tab never breaks and stays in place. These are something I order on a regular basis. br>They're great in oatmeal or mixed with nuts as a snack. br>You will be given a very large bag.
