Both the cans of this product were dented when they arrived, so it's a real shame that I couldn't use it. In spite of wrapping them together and covering them with plastic wrap, somehow they shifted.
It's the best deal I have found for jackfruit since I'm new to it. It made two full meals for two people per can when I ordered two packs. The company I am helping is also a small business, and I enjoy helping companies like that develop. For those of you who love jackfruit, I recommend giving this a try.

It was the second time I bought from this company that both cans were bent. I will never purchase Jackfruit cans I bought were bent, so I spent way too much money on them. Currently, 17 dollars.
It's very hard to tell, but I doubt the product is safe to consume due to the dented cans. Unfortunately, I was unable to load the pictures of the cans. My guess is that they aren't leaking, but I am not sure.
The product may be enjoyed by first warming it with spices to your taste. I personally prefer an Indian curry spice blend, but I will not provide a recipe for this. Served with rice or bread, it goes well with both.
You should give it a try. The texture is similar to that of canned pineapple and the flavor is similar to that of water chestnuts. The flavor is interesting and it can be used to replace pulled pork.
I am so glad I discovered this brand of meat alternative products. I am very satisfied with it.
