It wasn't as good as it used to be. The update is This was the first time I had My questions were answered promptly. They said that the recipe had been changed, but after receiving customer feedback had been changed back to the original recipe. They sent me replacement cans with the original taste. I am happy to see the product taste the same again. This review was previously published It is so sad to say that the taste of frichik is entirely different from it used to be. It's disgusting. This dish does not have that rich gravy or meaty taste it used to have. All you taste now is salt with a bit of a sour taste. It is gross. The situation is so 8 cans of sweetened condensed milk were purchased. There is a cost associated with it. I guess it was a waste of money to buy something It makes no sense to change the old recipe. Why would they do that?.
There was more space in the can than in the A smaller-capacity can has a different appearance than that in the larger one. In addition to taste and texture, they are also different. Although I'm not sure if any changes have been made to how the product is made, this would not be a purchase I would make When I need next case of smaller cans I will go to Colledgedale in TN, either at the Village Market or Adventist Book Center. I am disappointed.
We don't want your money, all mine arrived damaged with 2 cans empty of liquid, which means that due to the damage they must have leaked. It's impossible to return or replace them, so I guess I'm out of luck.
As an alternative to chicken Provance, I make my "Soyameat Provance". This is delicious. With rice and tomato sauce, you can make delicious stuffed peppers with diced soyameat and small diced meat.
It is not the same Frichik product we used to buy. The company that purchased Loma Linda has altered the recipe. The seasonings are different. It has been stated in another review. There is less gravy to taste, as it used to be thick and thick. It even seems to have a different texture. Our purchase was for 8 cans of this product, and the remaining 7 cans will be donated or trashed after making this purchase. Although still quite tasty, the Big Franks are still quite good.
The book is a staple for all of us who grew up as Adventists. Now I don't have to stock up on the book at church.
Of all the alternative meat products in a can I've tried, this tastes the best. Loma Linda products have been a part of my life for about four or five years. It is great that they are smaller cans for their purpose.
They have good food products, and I was brought up on it, so I adore their They are little pricey, but it is worth it for having more variety to choose from. In case you have not tried these products yet, I would definitely recommend getting to know them!.
