As long as I do not add anything that contains salt to whatever I am making, I can use this pretty much for everything. If you are making a dish with less seasoned items, this product is simply too salty and overpowering. It is true that all of today's products tend to be prepared for specific uses, but I would like this product to be unseasoned so that I can prepare it as I prefer. quickly, and I find it very convenient that I can keep it in the freezer until I'm ready to use it instead of needing to thaw it first. The price is reasonable, and it is an excellent value for the money. There is no need to buy a whole pound of ground meat since one package can easily replace it. Although it has a salty taste, this product is quite great if you can handle it. I do not like salty foods, or at least not in delicate dishes that I am used to.
