The tasting was great but the prices were prohibitive in Hawaii. I used to buy these for approximately $3 a jar in any NY supermarket, but they are no longer available here. My concern was that they would come in a glass jar - but I was glad I did However, they were in good condition when they arrived, and the date indicates a fairly long shelf life. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
My favorite onion is this one. It becomes easier to unscrew once you have removed As soon as you expose the onions, you get a smell of This isn't good, it's best to have some kind of Tamper Proof protection between the cap and the product, especially in our world today. It would be great to hear what you are However, Sabrett does not seem to be The Emperor's orders are always in effect.
Tangy, sweet, a bit savory, and the onions have a nice twang to them It is just as yummy as I remember it. The flavors of the Big Apple are as good as they get along with a dog and some kraut and mustard in.
You could almost say that it was a bun-shaped meal. With the Onion Sauce and one of the Sabrett Hot Dogs, this combination is too good to be true. Therefore, the Onion Sauce on a Sabrett Dog is just okay without the authentic hot dog. It would be great if Sabretts would set up a distributor on the West Coast!.
This stuff is totally flavorless when I have tasted it off native carts in New York City, therefore, I can't comment too much on it. All I can say is that it is absolutely flavorless when I taste it off the jar. There is a reddish tint to it It is orange in color, but that is There is no onion flavor at all in this dish. If you want some texture in your hot dogs, you can add it to them. That's the kind of stuff New Yorkers love, and I'd be shocked if it's the same as that.
The extraordinary red onion sauce I had all around me my whole life growing up in Brooklyn, New York. I am not even aware that grocery stores carry this elsewhere, and I haven't seen it on any other shelf. But it has to be one of, if not the best topping a hot dog or a sausage can have. This is a push cart specialty that doesn't have the fillers that push carts and stands usually have.
this time the jar I opened first (out of 2) leaves a foul, makes everything that you eat or drink taste off for a couple of days. There have been three occasions where this has been discovered. It's still early and will take a little while before I open the second jar, so I can't comment on it. It shows an expiration date of 18 months, but is still marked as 'best use by'. In order to make the product tamper-proof, the manufacturer needs to add tamper-proofing To keep the contents fresh and safe, there is a seal between the lid and the contents.
My name is not Michael C. and I am not from New York, but I was stationed there during my time in the Navy, and I would order red cooked onions whenever I could. Even though this isn't cart quality, it to anyone who has been to New York and wants a taste of what the Big Apple is like, as well as those who have not been to the Big Apple but want a taste of what NYC dog is like.
