Is there anything else I can say? This is my first review, and I've been an Amazon customer for quite some time. I'm not sure how this chicken could be labeled "Organic" when it smelled like bleach! I was overcome by the smell of bleach after defrosting, washing, and preparing it. It can only be described in this manner. I was terrified, but I reasoned that it was possible that my nose was broken. So I rolled this meat in simple bread crumbs, as my little one prefers, and off we went to cook it. I kept asking him if he liked it as I watched him eat it, and he kept saying yes, but in a funny way. He only ate two pieces before scraping the breading off the meat and refusing to touch it again. I inquired as to why, to which he replied that it is a humorous test. and oh my goodness, did it ever! The meat had a bleach flavor to it. breaded and fried in bread crumbs I couldn't believe it. I've never seen organic bleach before, so this isn't it! It has a strong odor to it. If you can imagine bleach-flavored food, this is exactly what it tastes like! I'd appreciate it if someone could explain why my ORGANIC chicken tastes like BLEACH.
I've never bought chicken thighs with so much fat on them when I turned them over before. A deliberate scheme to deceive customers by including and concealing an excessive amount of fat in order for us to pay for garbage that will be thrown away.
Either Amazon is delivering nearly expired meat to customers, or all meat should be stored in cooling bags during the summer because temperatures are not suitable for meats. I've had a few off packs of meat now, but this one was the worst; it smelled HORRIBLE! I threw it out.
I usually order something else, but I decided to give these a try. According to the packaging, each pack contains six pieces. I read somewhere that someone got an 8. Mine only had 5 tiny thighs, so I'll pass the next time for the price.
It has an impact on the taste and texture of the food. This item is shipped frozen, as stated by another reviewer. This isn't a new product.
It was very fatty and not at all like the picture. However, it is not frozen. Not as pictured, but very fatty. There are six in a pack, and the insides are brownish rather than pink, indicating that they were not delivered fresh. I am not planning on purchasing anything else.
This company has provided me with chicken thighs in the past, and they were generally satisfactory. This time I was a little grossed out because the package contained a glob of chicken skin with feather remnants. I'm not sure how this made it through quality assurance. I believe it is time to move on to someone else.
There was insufficient space for a family of six. I felt strange because I am always willing to provide seconds if they request them.
