Hal no!
Before we pluck the chickens, they are free to wander straight to the boiling water. Then we let our nefarious machines gut and debone the animals as needed.

I had previously ordered this, but the meat was foul-smelling this time. I haven't yet attempted to prepare a meal. I'm hesitant to consume it. For the time being, I've placed it in the freezer and will check it later. I'm going to throw it out if the odor persists. Yes, I am aware that meat has a distinct odor. Because I grew up in the south with chickens, I understand the difference between fresh and rotten chicken.
On Friday, September 9th, after 7:00 p. m. , I received my Amazon Fresh order. 00 PM. Because Amazon Fresh no longer uses ice packs, frozen water bottles, or insulated bags, I quickly placed everything in the refrigerator. On Sunday, September 6th, I noticed the following package: By September 5th, you must either sell or freeze your produce. I had no choice but to dispose of it.
The meat appears to be very fresh, as I received it late last night. The only caveat is that I wouldn't order meat this way in the summer because the packaging isn't insulated to keep the meat cool. They do provide a water bottle that has been frozen in a paper bag to keep the temperature cool, but that is not going to work in Texas Summers. It would be better to use a cooler or a reusable freezer bag. I'd even pay a little more to have it used all the time and then return it to be reused when the next shipment arrives.
While I see traces of blood in other brands, which is typical of non-halal cuts, the amount of blood in these is excessive. I recall draining at least two-thirds of a gallon of water. This time, 3ml of blood was extracted from a couple of drumsticks, and nearly all drumsticks have blood traces. Cooking at a low temperature does not help. br>br>Because of the blood, cooked chicken tastes bad, and traces of blood can be seen along the bone after cooking. I bought it twice, and both times the quality was the same. The meat near the bone is unfit for human consumption. br>br>Overall, the meat quality and packaging are of poor quality.
First and foremost, this was an excellent value for the amount of chicken provided. Second, for this batch, I marinated the chicken in two different marinades and divided the pack into four equal portions for two people. It worked out well, and the chicken was cooked in a glass Pyrex to avoid sticking. Because I didn't use enough spray, some of it got stuck; It was a good lesson. The flavor was out of this world! It was juicy and cooked to perfection, and it followed the recipe to the letter! It's important to remember that this is dark meat. Cooking the first day or two after receiving is highly recommended, as leftovers are still delicious when stored in ziplock or Tupperware. I'll upload a photo for the next review because I'm reordering.
I marinate these for 30 minutes with a tablespoon of salt and plenty of water. The skin is then peeled away from the body. There is one trick: Remove the clingy part at the bottom of the leg with a paper towel. After that, I don't add any more spices and bake or air fry them for 40 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit. I flip them after 20 minutes to ensure even browning. It has a rotisserie chicken flavor to it!.
To me, it tastes great. However, I only recently received it, so the date should be more current. The fresh date needs to be sold for a little longer on Amazon or simply bear.
These were quite large, and after a few hours of marinating in plain old Italian seasoning, they cooked up nicely in the air fryer. br>br>As some of the other reviews suggest, amazon will absolutely sell you items that have a "best by" date that is only a day or two away. When they inspect your fresh and frozen proteins, request a refund. I've also taken note of price fluctuations on a few items. br>br> The price of one salad I buy on a regular basis ranges from $4 to nearly $9. This is due to the fact that the less expensive ones only have one. The date is still two days away. The others will have a week to complete their tasks.
