Questions & Answers

You asked a great question, thank you! About 6 percent alcohol by volume is expected to be in the Lemondrop Saison. There is 5% ABV in this wine.

ABV stands for average bid volume?

It will be about 7 degrees by the end of this beer. When completed, it will have an ABV of 2%.

Is aging this beer going to bring out the flavors of this beer when you say the flavor gets stronger with age?

To solve this problem, I make five , five gallon batches at a time. That being said, I drink each batch of water before starting to consume it. By that time, they have been in kegs for at least 8 to 16 weeks. *br>By that time, they are usually good from start to empty. Keep your beer in your hand and never rush it.

Despite the disappointment, overall it is still a good experience
4/5

This was the beer I chose to try, since I wanted a lighter beer that had a lemony flavour. To be more precise, I was aiming for sort of a lemonade-ish Shandy, which I cannot achieve. However, I was expecting that to be the case. I still enjoy the beer (both 2 weeks post bottling) a lot. Tastes like Belgian beer and is heavier than most lemonades, I like that. There is no hint of lemon I did not taste any banana fruity taste as well. Another reviewer mentioned a strong banana flavor. While it's a good beer, I won't be having it again since I was not expecting it to be like that.

Even though I used dry yeast, I made a yeast starter for this. I just wanted to test something. I will begin with the first two Three days of fermentation were, to put it mildly, aggressive. My airlock had to be pushed out of my system all three days because the fermentation was very active. There is too much yeast in my starter so I'm not sure if this is normal or if I used more yeast than was needed. However, I did stray from what was expected/planned, which has probably affected the final taste.
Keep in mind that it is, however, a great Ideally, I should have followed the directions precisely on my first batch before experimenting on my second.

In the end, it was a good brew
5/5

During fermentation, my room temperature dropped and I think there were some problems, but after moving to a warmer area, everything run smoothly. Didn't clear quite as much as I wanted, but it is a saison. Fermented about 5 gallons of cider in a secondary ferment There was a 6 day mark which helped clarify things a bit. As I went to bottle it, it had a very yeasty taste and I was concerned about that. I gave it three weeks to bottle condition and it is an excellent While there is little lemon flavor in it, it reminds me of a Hefe with a hint of hops in the back end. You have to be patient since the taste gets better with time. I should probably try something new or a different strain of yeast. There is more sediment than I would like.

In this kit, everything is included, which is similar to other Northern Brewer kits
5/5

The second update is here I had to update it to 5 stars again. As this beer ages, the strong banana flavors subside, giving way to a sweeter flavor of banana. Here's the latest Upon tasting the finished product, I had to drop a star, not because of the quality, but due to the flavor. It was no taste of lemon drop and ended up having a strong banana taste. Though I understand that some find this to be desirable, it isn't what I had in mind. The original review was written as follows It is important to have high-quality In the instructions, you are told that you can transfer to a secondary and wait for two There is no need for this because it only increases the risk of contamination and oxygenation of the beer. Upon completion of two weeks, the product is ready for bottling. The review will be updated if the final product does not taste as good as expected. As of now, the fermentation and ingredients have received 5 stars.

The beer isn't the best
3/5

I've never made a Saison before, and I'm not familiar with what they should taste like. I've done enough kits that I can usually make a pretty good beer, but this is a bit hard thought from the description that it would be a light lemony-flavored drinkable beer, but mine turned out to be very similar to a bad imitation of Budweiser.

Depending on how it tastes, you may want to condition it beer that I've tried at different intervals for the past few months
5/5

A bottle of wine was conditioned and carbonated very quickly in six You probably won't be able to taste the flavor for some time due to the bubbles. Great all-around beer, not too much at both hops and malt. A lemony touch, not too much hops, just enough malt. With a lemon in it, like a Blue Moon.

The kit is nice
5/5

My cup of coffee arrived yesterday, so I’ve not yet had the chance to make it, but looking at the ingredients, I can tell it’s going to taste great. In my opinion, Northern Brewing Equipment has created a great product, as it is my second time ordering from them and I was very pleased with my last purchase.

This Lemondrop Saison is the perfect end to any summer afternoon
5/5

This is not a lemon flavoring. The hobby of brewing beer became a Covid passion. The Lemondrop Saison was well liked by all who tasted it (uses Lemondrop Hops). The kit is great and I will purchase it The first 2 weeks of primary school are followed by the second 2 weeks of secondary school. Make sure that the carbon dioxide is force A delicious dish.

I hope you have a wonderful season! I really like this beer
5/5

It is easy to follow the directions. The cold beer ended up having a faint hint of bubblegum to it after I used the dry yeast. I think that this was one of my favorite homebrews The activities I participated in were enjoyed by my family and friends as well.
