1 Gallon Beer Recipe (Black Pepper Saison)

If you want a 3+, make sure you get one. My only brewing experience is cider and mead, so I made this as a birthday gift. My food came out "really good", has been told to me. I do not enjoy you must have a 3+ gallon pot. I didn't have one so I had to boil it in separate 1 quart pots. Pots with a capacity of 5 gallons. I used a 5 gallon bucket with a stainer and a ratchet strap, as well as some spare screen mesh that I cleaned and disinfected for about 20 minutes. All ingredients are included in the kit. Instructions are quite simple.

There was far less sourness in the end than you might expect from a lager. An error in the brewing process might be responsible. Although it had to be done to the letter, we followed the recipe exactly. This is two of my favorite beers, but the sours were disappointing.
