There was an IPA flavor and a stout appearance to this beer. It was easy to brew, it tasted great, and it was pretty much what you'd expect. We would buy from them.

I'm quite Yeast is a form of life and it is a living organism. It's been 36 hours since I added and there is no activity. I'm quite You can read about the yeast and how temperamental it is. We've been cloning DNA and culturing fungal isolates for many years now (have a PhD in Pathology). Let's say nobody replied this morning, if no one has replied then I will need to drive an hour away to the nearest brewery to get new yeast.

On that note, what's the status today? In the last beer I brewed, I spent half the money, brewed it in just over a third of the time, and had great results.

I recently purchased two kits that had expired yeast in them, and the kits themselves had been assembled more than It was necessary for me to purchase fresh yeast from the local homebrew store.

So far I have not had time to drink it. Everything seems to be going well so far. The bottle is in my hand, but I haven't yet had the chance to open it.

With all the hoppy aroma and flavor of a stout, it is awesome! A very strong hop profile with just the right amount of light roastiness and malt. Dry hopping is the first time I've done a brew. A nice touch like that made it even more enjoyable.
