Thank you very much for your inquiry. Malted barley is present in a malted milkshake. A malted milkshake, on the other hand, is typically made without pure malt extract. You'd use malted milk, which has malted barley as one of its ingredients. Thanks!
Chilton, Wisconsin is the place where it was made. They claim to be a supplier to Chicago brewers. There are no hops in it. It tastes pretty good, and I use it to make bread.
"Non diastatic Unhopped" is written on the container. I hope this information is useful. When I got the product, I had a question and decided to call the company. They proved to be extremely beneficial. If you want to call them Briess, look them up on the internet. They were probably in Wisconsin, according to what I've heard.
This is nothing more than a liquid malt that can be added to a beer recipe. To make a batch of beer, you'll need more than one can.

This malt enhances the flavor of the bread. There will be no more nostalgic feelings about eating this bread or rushing to the store to buy bread that may contain a lot of preservatives! We can now have it whenever we want it, and it will always be fresh! I've had it for a long time and there's still plenty of malt left in the bottle!.
To put it succinctly, a great deal. Okay, that was only two words; ) but Nancy Silverton knows what she's doing, and in less than an hour, my starter was bubbling like it was about to burst. It made excellent bread, as well. br>br>My family has been discussing making beer, but we can't decide what kind to make. We're a stout family in general, so this will be ideal when we start making the first batch. Until then, I'll continue to use it in my bread and recommend it to others.
Good malt flavor for shakes and drinks, as well as pancakes. The powdered version of malt extract (DME=dried malt extract) has a more concentrated magical malted flavor, in my opinion. Please note that "malt powder" is not to be confused with "dried malt extract," as malt powder is actually "malt flour," which is ground up malted barley. Barley that has been ized. Furthermore, "malt powder" differs from "malted milk powder," which is a completely different product (DME combined with powdered milk and sugar). Yes, there is a lot of jargon.
I've used it in baking and it's fantastic, giving your pumpernickel or rye breads a lot of flavor. It's even been used to boil bagels, giving plain bagels a nice edge!.
It adds a distinct flavor to my loaves.
KEEP THE LID AND RIM CLEAN, OR THE CONTAINER WILL SEAL ITSELF. This is now my brand, and I've created malt ice cream and incredible bread with it. Combine a small glob of butter with a splash of boiling water, then stir into the milk.
Buenisimo.
