I can confirm that the crab meat has already been In addition to eating crab in salads, you can dip it in butter and eat it. If I eat it with melted butter and a salad and crusty bread, I like it dipped in melted butter.

Dungeness crabs are you capable of getting hold of them?

You can eat our freshly prepared cooked dungeness crabs that arrived cleaned (with the guts removed).

When removing and thawing half- or one-pound portions, how hard would it be to keep the frozen portions frozen?

I bought it in 1 lb packages when I bought it. If you try to divide these up into smaller portions, I wouldn't recommend it.

A little more than one and a half About 34 sections per pound with no shredded scrapings, 2" clean sections per pound. The crab that we thawed in the steamer looked like it was just broken out of its shell when we thawed it. I love this fresh product because it is moist, has a wonderful texture, slightly briny, and sweet. In every spoonful of lobster bisque we had a bit of crab in every bite. Continuing on in the same vein, we did another pound. It was a hidden option under Giovanni's posted Dungeness crab meat 2# option that was exactly the same price. No muss, no fuss. No fuss, no muss, just convenience and it was absolutely delicious. It was a treat of a lifetime.

A FROZEN state

It has never been frozen when I have purchased it before. A vacuum sealed bag was used to store the goods, and they were There was a twist tie baggie containing the frozen food this time. It is still frozen this time? I am NOT happy.
