Again, this was a quarantine, and I now require the purchase of chicken. I really like Amazon Fresh's "Just Bare" chicken, but they were all sold out when I looked. These were a little fatty on the ends, and they had this strange little rectangle white plastic-like thing on them. Each one had a strange-looking thing protruding from it. This isn't the first time I've seen this on a tender; I've also seen it on other brands. I, on the other hand, am not a big fan of it. When the fat and plastic are removed, it's as if half of the chicken is wasted. Would I order again, given that we are in desperate need of food? In these specific cases, yes. But, in most cases, I would recommend the Just Bare chicken line because it is far superior.
Overall, it's a good price, and I buy it every few weeks because I don't eat enough chicken to justify the higher cost of fresh cuts. If you don't like biting into chicken and having to pull a tendon out of your mouth, these aren't for you. It happens at least once per meal, but it's not worth attempting to remove before cooking because you'll waste a lot of meat attempting to locate and remove them.
Proportioning is a breeze. I've gained over 30 pounds in the last year, so portion control is more important than ever. Because they're so close to perfection, the amount of time it takes to prepare them is drastically reduced.
This is delicious, and having a bag of Tyson's chicken tenderloins in the freezer makes things a whole lot easier. We've been using it for weeks, and if you need to feed a crowd, this is ideal: the chicken is of excellent quality, the size is perfect, and it takes up very little freezer space.
I had to trim the tenderloin so much that I didn't have much left.
These are plain old uncooked chicken breasts that I mistook for precooked for some reason, but they're simple enough to bake.
I couldn't return it, so I threw it away. br>According to the news, Tyson frozen chicken is being recalled.
