Questions & Answers

It is important to note that unless explicitly indicated otherwise, cooking marvellous are not the manufacturer of this product." why would I buy it then?" ?

In addition to the steak and kidney pie, I've had it several times. Pot pies in Japan aren't the same as the ones in the United States. Despite being flakey and light, the crust is layered. A filo pastry would be like that. Regardless of who came to me, I was always grateful. A distributor such as Cooking Marvellous is merely a dealer. In addition, these products were clearly designed for use at It is 6250' above sea level where I live. This is the second attempt after failing the first I learned to increase the temperature by 50 degrees as it turned out doughy. The traffic up here in Colorado Springs makes me do that a lot. Several big tins are provided with this product. Regardless of the altitude you are in, you should follow the instructions to the letter the product is still very tasty. It may not compare to ones your mom used to make, but have no fear, this product tastes just as good when done correctly. There is a Maria Callender quality to this.

Food that is scammed
3/5

It is not as good as it seems. It is unlikely that I have not tried most of them. The amount of meat per sandwich is about half a teaspoon no matter what type it is. 95 percent of it is gummy dough, and 4 percent is cookie dough. The gravy is bland and 9% of the food is There is 1% real meat in the product. I agree with them all.

I enjoyed your pie a lot! In this article, we will discuss both beef and pork A can of onion pie is a very good food, but it takes a big effort to open the metal container,

I don't think it is worth the price
3/5

Clearly, this product was not worth its inflated price, as there was very little meat and no taste of onion.

This was not what I expected
3/5

My favorite pie at Fray Bentos is the cheesy garlic chicken. I wasn't a big fan of the filling in this product it looked to be poured from a food processor You may think this is just beef but it's actually a mix of many different things. A very little bit - A gravy with onions and potatoes. There, however, was a small but distinctly noticeable pea right in the middle of everything else. In the fine print, they can be found along with carrots and potatoes at the bottom of the tin The latter, however, is not visible. I believe that everything except the peas went in the blender with them. There is a lot of pastry here, too. I like the pastry, but there is far too much of it I believe that they contain more of this in each pie than in the others. Fray Bentos should follow these recommendations You might want to improve this product or avoid it all together and introduce a delicious Steak and Mushroom Pie instead.

The Beef and Onion Minced No, that's not the best choice
3/5

I've been enjoying Fray Bentos products for a long time, and I look forward to having an FB dinner every week. As a result, I am for once very disappointed A couple of evenings ago I had minced beef and onion pie. As "Jeepguy" wrote an earlier review, much of what I was going to mention has already been discussed. As well as the fact that the contents were mushy (I agree that they seemed to have been put through an aggressive blender process), the usual delicious top crust was not such a delight, and the filling seemed less than exciting. We are disappointed with how the pie turned out overall. It was like an uninspired hash, in contrast to what we have come to expect and enjoy from Facebook over time. We will go with the old tried and true formula from now on. I am certain that they will remain as enjoyable as they have always.

Food from the UK is tasty
5/5

I like it. Be careful to follow instructions or you'll end up with mush. It works well here in Denver to preheat at 425 degrees first. There is an altitude difference that you can The crust was flakey and the sauce was good. The seasoning is different from what you'd find in a premium Marie Callender's meat pie.

It was a very disappointing experience for me
3/5

I did not find it worthwhile to wait for it or to pay for it. After waiting a few weeks for it to arrive from the UK, I was very disappointed when it finally arrived and when I tried cooking it. I feel like the original quality is diminished, much like a lot of things these days. For what it's worth, I would not recommend waiting for the meal or spending the money. It's nothing like what I remembered from when I lived in England.
