It was delicious. As a result, I went from livable to no way with the quality of Chinese tail purchased from my local butcher. Despite this, I finally got my act together to check online to see if I could find a better version of this. I love crawfish etouffe and that need drove me to spend almost a ben franklin on the chance to have Today, I made my first batch of etouffe, and what I made is WAY better than what I can get With plenty of tail fat, this meat is tender, juicy, and rich in flavor. I love yum. Despite coming a bit slushy, the only downside is that it didn't take long for them to melt. My cats were lucky that it was cooler the day they arrived. I fear they might have spoiled if it had been hot. Those tails are awesome. My rating goes up to 5 stars all day long with a little dry ice in the cooler. This is the October 2018 version I went to re-take the test I previously purchased these for a relatively low price, but the order and price has increased considerably since then. The Cajun Grocer in my area is no longer available, so I chose to purchase from another online retailer.

Although we ate a lot of crawfish tails, three pounds had to be tossed out. It was really bad to smell them, as they had completely thawed. It took more than two weeks to receive the package. A complete lack of dry ice had been observed.

Although I grew up in the north and enjoy Cajun or Creole cuisines, my local grocery store only carries crawfish tail meat imported The only acceptable source for this product comes from the United States due to all of the horror stories I have heard about Asian seafood farming practices. This product is exactly what I was looking for on Amazon and I could not be happier. Amazon and the people who create this great product deserve a lot of thanks.

We use the seasoning that they are packaged in to make our etouffee and it is absolutely delicious. It is certain that we will purchase them again in the future. don't have a complaint, but when they did arrive, the packs were partially thawed. They were put in the freezer immediately, and now all is well. Package the items in a way that assures they will remain frozen after.
