Mine has taken a long time to develop. I've had them for three and a half years and haven't felt the need to repot them. Because they are not planted in soil but rather decorative rock and water, they should be very easy to repot if desired.
Just make sure they're full of water. They require extremely low levels of illumination. In a dimly lit restaurant, mine thrived. When they needed it, I gave them a gallon of purified water.
Because the pots aren't filled, they're prone to tipping. To avoid this, I purchased a wooden tray from a thrift store, sanded and varnished it, and then glued each pot to the tray with super glue. There will be no tips. It took a lot of time and effort, but it was well worth it.
Yes, you will receive three vases as well as the plants shown in the photo.

They've been kept alive by water and office light, and they add a lot of charm to my office; I've just ordered some more for my home office!br>br>Update: The second order arrived, and I'm just as happy with them in my office (I work in a SOC, so the lights are very dim), and they're growing just fine (albeit a little slower than the ones in my home office). br>The customer service is outstanding. I had an issue with one of the plants (two-year-old plant = issue). Despite my offer to pay for it, customer service is repairing MY problem at their expense. These plants are beautiful, and the customer service is even better. br>br> I wish I had a need for three more, because I would have purchased them.
They thrive, and the jars and stones complement each other beautifully. These were purchased in two sets for use as restaurant decorations. I get a lot of compliments on them, and people always want to know where I got them. When I tell them about Amazon, they are taken aback. They were on time and in excellent condition. The plants appeared to be in good shape and were well-kept. I potted them in the provided pots (which are the perfect color and size for what I needed) and they grew to be healthy and happy. I had intended to purchase seeds and grow them myself, but after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase these. I'm glad I did, and I'll be purchasing more of them in the future. Every few days, I simply provide them with distilled water. It was incredible how quickly the leaves bloomed. If you want something quick and easy, this is a great option.
The photo was taken a split second after I had finished setting everything up. River rocks were also included, which was a pleasant surprise! This year, I'm going to buy this lovely set for every adult on my Christmas list! br>Recent changes: 6/10/18br>My previous bamboos lasted for years before succumbing to my neglect, but my new bamboos arrived today, and I'm just as happy with my purchase as I was years ago. Please do not be hesitant to make a purchase. br>PS One of my pots from a previous purchase was broken by my daughter. I emailed the company to see if I could get a replacement. That same day, they sent it to me for free!.
These lucky bamboo pieces are great additions to my office because they don't require much maintenance (just plenty of water) and don't mind the fact that my office doesn't get much direct sunlight. It's lovely.
I didn't see the measurement listed in the description online, so when I got the package, I was surprised to find that they were smaller than the pictures online (or my imagination). But then I double-checked the name and saw that it mentioned "'mini' ceramic vases," but it didn't matter because the plants arrived in excellent condition, with the roots still slightly damp so they wouldn't dry out during shipping. The terracotta pots are adorable. I received an email from the seller with instructions on how to care for the plants. I've killed a few plants before, but I've also managed to keep a few alive, and I'm hoping to keep these bamboo for a long time. I highly recommend this seller.
On Sunday evening, I placed an order for 20 stalks of "Lucky Bamboo" and plant food. On Monday morning, I received an email with the shipping status of my order, as well as a series of well-written instructions on how to plant and care for the plants. The data was consistent with everything I'd read previously. br>br>The plants were delivered promptly and in excellent condition. The vegetation is incredible. They have a vibrant color, healthy leaves, and a large root system. The earthy "green" smell of the stalks at the roots is one of the best indicators of health, according to what I've read. The stalks are firm and all measure at least as long as the advertised inches. br>br>In the future, if Kun has any more "Lucky Bamboo," I will buy it.
The shipping was excellent, and all three bamboo and pots arrived in perfect condition, which was something I was concerned about. The bamboo is healthy, with thick stalks and a good growth rate.
The plants were all dead when they arrived. It was a waste of money.
