My only way to get water is to buy bottled If you rinse it every few months, it will last longer. Basically, I keep the level of water up in mine but do not do anything else with it. It is possible to grow mine anywhere, but not in direct sunlight or if it is too cold outside. Plants with a high resistance to disease. There are very few ways to kill them. I love it!
There are five stalks on it.
I wouldn't expect it to happen. A fine was sent
Each stalk has another branch growing off of it around the top. The cuts were made straight down to the point that the top of the stalk was cut.

Now that the last Bamboo stalk has died after 2 years, we can finally say it was a failure. long time for one of these to live even though I never did anything to it other than change the water when I remembered. In addition to using regular tap water, I also used bottled water. It may have been because of that that they eventually died, but it sure took forever. When the leaves start to turn yellow at the tips I know the plant is ready to go. The stalk I planted into a pot with soil didn't last very long, and one of the others did as well. It is an excellent plant to keep in dimly lit rooms since it is hardy. Whether in the living room or the bedroom, they give the room a certain "things can live here" vibe. The stalks do grow higher after they are received, perhaps another foot and a half or so. There is a cute little panda peeking into the cup in which the bamboo is resting. Make the bamboo look more interesting by placing colorful rocks on the cup to prop it up. As soon as the stalks die, I'll put them back in their place Growing garlic in the cup is a good use of the cup. Here are a couple of interesting points While they are called "bamboos", they actually have nothing to do with the real thing.
In addition, According to the description, it arrived as promised. Seeing as I am a newbie, the planting instructions weren't super specific. It just said to keep 2" of water on top of Roots are sticking up from the packaging, and if I try to force them down, I may damage them. Therefore, I put a piece of gravel in there, planted the plant, and then poured gravel over the top. A few roots were sticking out at the tips. As much as I could, I tried to insert them again. Put water on them and make sure they were covered. Hopefully, it doesn't die lol I'll make sure to post a follow-up on here in the near future.
Edit 1/29/21 One of my stalks turned yellow from top to bottom and there are some yellow leaves.
I just love how little this plant is. I received it fairly quickly. Damage to anything was minimal. A bag containing roots and liquid was used to package those roots. The one thing you will need to do once you purchase this is to get some rocks or something else to keep it This is how I got the rocks you can use glass gems, shells, or soil too. Make sure that the roots of the plant are always submerged in water.
The review I was meant to write has still not been finished after a year. As a result of neglecting to get somewhat of an irrigation system, it seems to be growing very slowly. We can help it grow by putting soluble fertilizer on it. If your town's water is hard, I would not recommend using tap water if your plant arrives with instructions. It thrives well off a natural spring water (acquired from an outdoor spring in my area), but I would not recommend tap water. I appreciate it.
I was so pleased to see this plant packaged beautifully! So far, the vase has not been damaged as it was wrapped in bubble wrap. We received a bamboo plant with a jelly around its roots and in a bag to keep it My first try went off without a hitch! I followed the instructions exactly and I love it! Be sure to add a few small pebbles or natural items to help it stand up, it won't do the job on its own. I love this!.
I liked it a lot. 'I bought this plant for my friend who wanted to combine her new collections of plants with a bamboo plant'. There was no end to the conversation about how cute the vase was and how gorgeous the plant was. It was necessary that I purchase some decorative rocks separately since the package did not include any. The plant would not have been able to stand without them. I would definitely give another person who wants a bamboo plant a gift like this one. It's possible that I'll buy one for myself too!.
Unlike the others, his was planted with five stems, which are all doing really well, so he has to rehome some of the stems in new pots. In the back left corner, you can see the original vase. There seems to be no problem with it for him. The pet is kept close to a window and not overly fussed over.
This was my first plant, and the one in Washington state they first sent died due to low temperatures. I contacted them, and another was sent quickly, and it is still growing now. In fact, this is a type of Lilly, so if you are like me at 12 years old and are looking for something that will grow very fast, then this is not - We keep it by our sink in a partial to full sun environment, and I rinse the water out of its bowl (that comes with a cute vase) about every two weeks. I don't use fertilizers or anything else fancy. In addition to being happy, it's also healthy.
