The seller who provided me with these bamboo stalks provided me with a high-quality product, and I don't believe any of the leaves were damaged during shipping. Foam pellets in a long box were used for shipping. I'm not sure if I'm reviewing the product or the seller, so I can't say whether other sellers will use foam peanuts; I've ordered bamboo stalks from previous sellers who didn't use foam pellets, and the bamboo leaves were crushed and bent. These are relatively simple to grow with the exception of a few minor details. Bamboo plants dislike being moved once they have become accustomed to their surroundings. 2. Many people believe that you should fill the water all the way to the top, but stalks do best in a few inches of clean water (which is a common mistake). Bamboo stalks should not be exposed to direct sunlight. These stalks thrive in dim light, which is why they're ideal for bathrooms and other dark spaces. With proper care, these can last at least a few years, if not longer.
Arrived on time. The lucky bamboo stalks are only 16 inches tall. " Because they were not carefully packaged, the majority of the leaves were damaged and crumpled. Some had brown tips that didn't appear to be healthy. They came with a return envelope, but their Amazon page states that returns are not accepted. I would never order from this seller again because the bamboo would never fit in the envelope because it was far too short.
The stalk was very pale green when it arrived, and the diameter of the stems was much larger than expected. Instead of being long and slender, the leaves were short and rounded. I kept a few of the stems rather than discarding them all because they were too large for the display vase I had planned. The leaves are long and flowing, and the stems are a lovely shade of green after two years. It made a significant difference, and they now appear to be in much better condition. I'm blown away by how long they lived and how well they grew. I would suggest giving the stalks some time and using a larger vessel than you think you'll need. I intend to buy more in the future.
I've had other bamboo stalks for a long time, my previous one lasted 14 years, and I expect this one to last as well. br> All I had to do was add a few drops of Lucky Bamboo Fertilizer Plant Food and replace the water once or twice a week. They'll be beautiful and fresh. br>.
I love the long roots I trimmed and put in my fish tank.
However, he was docked a star for stuffing the new shoots into a box and breaking their tips.
For a low price, you can get some nice, healthy bamboo plants.
Thank you for your kind words.
